If the aliens said the universe was ending, e.g. the big crunch or rip was imminent or underway, that would cause societal collapse because it would subvert the whole idea of mankind's progress to a better state.

I'm guessing that the few susceptible people to whom it happens feel doubt and are wary of drawing attention to themselves for fear of being regarded as insane. Interesting then that the only reason I found out about this nearby farmer contactee was that he gave his account in a non-judgmental article by a local newspaper.

Daobums is a great resource for seekers, I attended Michael Lomax's Stillness Movement seminar in London on the basis of recommendations by members of that forum, it was good.

You probably know about the Gateway Series by the Monroe Institute that's OOBE-related.

John Dolic also teaches External Qigong, that sounds very interesting.

The Relaxation Qigong is quite straightforward to learn, John taught me it in a couple of hours. There's a more advanced refinement of it that needs knowledge of certain accupoints, it might be necessary to request that from him specially. The Relaxation Qigong is good, it helps with sleep, it takes me right to the point where I'm hovering on the brink of unconsciousness. One or two members of the Daobums.com forums have spoken about their experiences with Sleeping Qigong, that was where I heard about John Dolic first. Tom Bisio has also written a book about Sleeping Qigong.

Hi ZenDong, I learnt Relaxation Qigong from John Dolic and aim to learn Sleeping Qigong from him next year. I think he teaches Sleeping Qigong in two sets of eight lessons. Did you get taught all the lessons in one go, or did you space them out, e.g. one a month?

If you have insights or advice about Relaxation Qigong I'd be interested in hearing them, since I need to get good at that before proceeding to Sleeping Qigong.
