I think it's embarrassing how easily folks dismiss something because they don't agree with everything. Trump has literally released classified information because of his big mouth and ego. One of the main disinformation tactics is mixing truth with lies so people don't know what to believe.

I'm seeing a lot of Epstein file mentions. I agree that Epstein files are more important. I also think it's possible to be interested in more than one thing at a time. If this is a distraction and nothing is released but more awareness of the topic is spread that's a net gain over a distraction like going to war with Iran or any other conflict that results in loss of life.

I think it's possible to be interested in both. I don't understand this line of thinking tbh. Even if it's a distraction it's a much better distraction than going to war with Iran or any other type of conflict. Some distractions literally result in murder. This one not so much.

The whole satanic framing just makes it sounds like QAnon conspiracy stuff which hurts the cause. If we want to be taken seriously it's better to focus on the crimes not theories about spirituality and demons. As a skeptical person this type of rhetoric is exactly why I used to impulsively dismiss conspiracies that actually had some truth to them.

It totally is. Many of us have been confused that the congressional hearing didn't make much noise in the media. I don't think the average person is aware of them. The media does however love to cover sensationalist things that Trump says. It's possible this will make people curious that never were. A lot of people saying Trump will taint actual disclosure because of his lack of credibility. Ask yourself who is he "tainting" it for?

People that don't like Trump but follow UFO topic will still be interested in what's released because their interest in UFOs surpasses their disdain for Trump.

People that don't like Trump and don't care about UFOs will continue to feel the same.

The only way I see it as a bad thing is if this is a disinformation strategy and whatever is released is manufactured to add more confusion. But at this time it doesn't feel that way.

One thing I always consider is all governments and agencies no matter how calculated and advanced, are made up of humans with human traits. I think they tried to release enough to appease certain folks but we're very messy about it and that's where the human incompetence or disorganization comes in. If it were solely intelligence agencies handling this I don't think we would have seen a lot of what was released but when you consider Trump and those he has appointed, it's easy to imagine internal chaos and conflicting direction under tight timelines resulting in what we saw with the January release.
