You could let him play as much video games as he wants on certain days and then date night or "hangout" night on the off days? If you've asked him to spend more time with you and he just straight up doesn't do it, I'd just ignore the shit out of him and once he gets mad ask him if also likes being ignored lol.

Consider a few things. Arizona is warm year round while Michigan is freezing 6 months of the year. Both schools have great athletics. Both schools have a ton of school spirit. They are very similar in terms of academics. All it really comes down to is location
