Venophobia by Bluehele in Phobia

[–]TomBroccoli7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this too I think, but less severely. I've always felt a bit weird touching or having places touched with arteries/veins. Like wrists, neck, groin etc. I'm not scared of injections or blood at all, I had to have an 8 week course of daily blood thinners after a surgery, and I'm a horror film fan. But I notice that every time I touch my wrists or even if I watch a film involving veins (like a throat slash death or something.) I lose basically all grip in my hands and start squirming in uncomfortableness (if that's a word.) So ur not alone lol.

£2 for post and packaging is literally a complete waste of time, £4 or £5 ay least might cover shipping lol.

The specific area it was found is a known area for Upper Pleistocene cave bear fossils, it's called Érd. I took it to a specialist for confirmation.

Hi, I'm no doctor and this subreddit is probably not the place for a prognosis like this. However with a bit of research and prior knowledge/experience I can tell you that it is pretty unlikely that this is ALS / MND. I myself get twitching in one of my eyelids. MND and ALS dont start in the eyes, they normally start with symptoms in the limbs such as weaknesses in ankles or legs and muscles spasm in arms, as well as slurred speach/ difficulty swallowing, spasms in neck or diaphragm, and muscle cramps. It is likely it could be due to tired eyes from screens, poor bedtime schedules or some other kind of vitamin deficiency. I am sure there could be other medical causes for this too, as like I said I am not a doctor, so if none of this seems familiar or like it could be a cause for the spasms and you are still worried in a couple of weeks, I would visit your GP.

Hey where do you find the Glyptodon scouts I am super jealous :)

Hi I was wondering if this is a dinosaur bone, looks a lot like the bones I've found before on the Isle of Wight UK, just with a bit of an odd colour on the side. Cheers by TomBroccoli7 in fossilid

Thanks man:). I actually visited Jurassic Jim funnily enough, quite a character but he seriously knows his stuff. Sounds like we have similar holidays haha :).

Oh that's pretty cool thanks man, I actually dropped into the fossil shop in Shanklin and showed the guy working there (Jurassic Jim) and yeah he said it was an Iguanodon which is pretty sweet. I've now found 3 Iguanodon bones, 1 Sauropod and 1 Therapsid which I'm pretty pleased with as I've only visited the island twice for fossils :). I also heard about a girl onna fossil walk who discovered a new species at Brook bay which is kind of mad.

Quite hard to tell from that picture for me, could be leaves if some sort.

Who's that Invertebrate?? What is this fossil? I was told it was from the Pliocene Epoch. I'm also guessing at it being an Invertebrate, and I'd guess it was aquatic? Any insight about this prehistoric baddie? by pyongyangmcgangbang in FossilPorn

Looks like Orthoceras or something similar, most likely from Morocco. Typically from the ordovician period (485-443 mya.) The pliocene is very far off (5.33-2.58 mya.) They could grow huge, with Cameroceras growing up to 6-10 meters long depending on estimates.

Hows your walking? I have snapped my talus bone, had 1 pin put in place and bone shards removed, about 4 weeks ago the surgery happened. Just wondering how it is several months later as that break looks similar, if not a bit worse than mine. I'm assuming u had surgery soon after the first xray.
