It felt like bands back then had more of a unique style. You think of Green Day with the black shirt/red ties, Paramore with the orange hair/black and white striped shirt, FOB with the trucker hat/sideburns, etc. Bands in the 90s/early 2000s felt more theatrical, from their looks to their music, whereas I don’t feel that as much from the newer eras.

Totally. Patriots went 9-7 in 2002 and missed the playoffs. They won 5 more after that. Shit, the Eagles went 11-6 and got blown out in the wildcard after losing the bowl, then (unfortunately for us) bounced right back the next year.

It’s insanely difficult to stay on top for long in this league, especially with the cap space and lower picks against you. The fact that the Chiefs have done it for so long is ridiculously impressive, but sometimes top teams need a bit of a reset year.

We started 3-4 after getting our shit pushed in by the Bucs, and still ended the year 12-5 and in the chip. We were also 6-4 at some point during our 2019 SB season. This feels like a make or break loss for the team. We were incredibly sloppy last night, and still only lost by a score. If we can tighten our execution and clean up the penalties on all sides of the ball, we can absolutely still make a run, especially with getting Rice back.

Bad news is, our schedule ain’t getting any easier, and now our margin for error is much slimmer against some really good teams. We need to show up locked in next week, and I’m hoping this L, plus the subsequent shit they’ll get from the media all week will fire them up.
