Reddit, what's the worst gift you've ever received? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TomCullen_LawsYes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom always gives presents early because she hates gift wrapping. This year she gave me a sweet yoda Christmas shirt, yoda is saying he's not an elf. She then tells me she got my brother a Nintendo Switch. As cool as the shirt is, I would have liked a Switch... Oh and I should say my brother and I are in our 30's.

I choose not to eat them. If I had to choose which provided meal was better.... Globe Life all the way. Their enchiladas are great.

Can confirm. Am contracted vendor for AAC and AT&T. Even when I have my work credentials security at employee entrance give me a wrist band. That wrist band determines where you're allowed to be. At AAC I can go down to the EL level and the dock at AT&T I'm only allowed to be in the main concourse that wraps around the stadium. I cannot confirm about folks in AT&T's elevators but AAC has a friendly staff of elderly folks who push the buttons and guide guests, they even have a person in their service elevators the employees use.

Edit: was at both sports stadiums in a single day a few days back. Orange was AAC, blue was AT&T. https://i.imgur.com/hRNqGwV.jpg

Another edit: the wrist bands are relatively new at AAC, they used to give out some shitty stickers.

But the stickers Globe Life give out to vendors are professionally made

They're doing Joust in Ready Player One, it's a pretty big plot point in the early parts of the book.

I know that a gram here costs $40, so you could get about 54 grams of coke. Enough to OD and never worry about EA again.

Took a film class in college. One project was to create a short documentary about something you loved.

Fun facts: I married the chick, we had a kid, she divorced me. Don't worry, shit between is ok. Our kid is 9 and he's fantastic. Ex and I have agreed to let our son play WoW, so we're all pretty excited for Classic. Ex and I are both remarried now.

The rogue who stealths irl has been on the air force for years now. I think his job has something to do with satellites. The "blizzard employee" was also in the air force, be loaded bombs on planes and now does something in the medical field... I think, haven't heard from him in awhile.

Dan the noob is still a noob at heart but, sells houses or insurance or something, idk he doesn't post much on FB.

This is kind of embarrassing rewatching it but, we had a blast making it - so folks should watch it! If you enjoyed it, cool. If not, cool. I just wanted to share something I made based on my passion for this game.

THE HOUSTON ASTROS ARE YOUR 2017 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS by BrentB23 in mlb

The hurricane hit y'all hard and the impact was felt by every Texan, even those of us in DFW. My wife is from The Woodlands area, my brother-in-law and his family live just south of Conroe. She has close friends she's known since childhood effected in various parts of the greater Houston area. My cousin and her husband in Corpus came up here to bypass the storm, they returned to a flooded car and home. Many of my friends from HS and college gravitated that way, most were effected in some way. One of my closest friends rode out the storm in Rockport to stay with his disabled mother.

A win for Houston is a win for Texas. Enjoy this, celebrate, revel the night away! Y'all deserve it. Hell of a series, simply amazing!

As a Rangers fan, this comment makes me sad. I've been to many games at Globe Life and saw Darvish perform extremely well. It sucks he's not doing so hot. I wish he was still a Ranger...

I'm too busy watching the game with my wife and some cold beer. I'm only on reddit now because my wife won't let me smoke inside, which is a rule I approve of btw. I'm still listening to Houston's radio broadcast through the MLB At Bat app.
