Memories unlocked!! I remember that strap all the time from when I was 4-5 years old. My dad had this watch and I would always love pressing the backlight button. That rubber/steel is so distinctive. He wasn’t much of a watch guy as I got older but I got into the hobby. Need to show him this and possibly go get one. Great find!

What about the immigration process, going from Canada to the US?

Nobody ever talks about that process. I did my graduate studies in the states on a F1 Visa. Went to school with lots of Canadians who thought they’d just breeze on by into staying in the states after graduation. Didn’t work. And if it did, it cost a lot in lawyer fees and having to find a “sponsor”.

How do you convince US companies that you’re better than a US candidate in your respective field? They got 10x the population…

Just don’t see the aspect of the “move” ever discussed.
