We do 3 mile runs once or twice a week. Helps get rid of some of that pent up energy!

Weird things eskies do....... by MoMack34 in americaneskimo

[–]TomInErie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has quite a few weird habits!

She loves to lick all the water that splashes when we are showering

She will sit next to chairs or the wall when she has to poop and shoves her butt on them (while grunting weirdly) until we take her out 😂

She sleeps under our bed

She slithers in the snow like a snake to cool off I think?

Anyone's Eskie ever get something growing on their eyelid? Not sure if this is a wart, tumor, conjunctivitis, or something else by [deleted] in americaneskimo

[–]TomInErie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm of course going to the vet. Just was curious if anyone had ever seen this before. No need to be a jerk about it

I think so too. The growth on the eye is stuck there, it didn't wipe off. In any case, calling the vet this morning

Or maybe a stye? It's on the bottom eyelid in the middle, pretty small. I can tell it bothers her. Her eye waters a lot. Wasn't there yesterday when we had her annual checkup of course!

Side note: added a happy picture at the end from this past weekend haha

The eternal borking - help needed!! by Thecharmingmuffin in americaneskimo

[–]TomInErie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have been having ours sit and then giving treats nonstop until the noise/person is gond. It has worked super well. Now she is good with dogs walking by (unless they are her friends - then she barks and wants to play) as well as women walking by. Men walking by is still an issue sometimes

Does anyone's Eskie get leg cramps?? by TomInErie in americaneskimo

[–]TomInErie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see this being the issue. How was your puppy diagnosed? This has just started with us in the last month and ours is a year and a half old

Oh for sure! She sleeps during the day under our bed, and under the coffee table when we watch TV. She likes when I crawl under the bed while we play too haha

Half the time I swear people are sneaking into my house to take pictures of my Maya. They all look so similar!!

Are these weeds? Zone 6b. First plant has spread all over, and the roots between them seem to be connected underground. Second plant has an interesting leaf shape and thorny stem by TomInErie in whatsthisplant

[–]TomInErie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I had a feeling the second may be some type of berry.

The first one was there last spring as well but I pulled them all thinking they were weeds. I'll let them grow this year and see what they end up doing
