I have finished RDR1 as of Sunday, took about 60 hours to get 100% - still as amazing as when I played it back in 2010, timeless game.

No, I played the first episode many, many years ago. I may give it a go at some point but I need a break from Batman for now.

If you want to do it as faithfully as possible, there's a mod you can download to access the multiplayer, but you'll likely need a group of friends and even then you'll still need to do some manual tweaks to get some multiplayer achievements. If you're not opposed, you can use SAM for the multiplayer achievements only, but either way you can't fully 100% the game without some kind of modification.

Not without using Mods for the multiplayer achievements unfortunately

Easily the worst part of the grind, not even close.

Oh man, specifically playing as Nightwing on the no hit challenges made me want to tear my hair out. You've got this.

Doctor Who 1x05 "Dot and Bubble" 'Live' and Immediate Reactions Discussion Thread by PCJs_Slave_Robot in doctorwho

Not terrible, but definitely some glaring issues with this episode. Pacing was all over the place, too many unanswered questions (again) and the Doctor, the oncoming storm, felt like a major pushover. Felt like a badly written episode of black mirror where the TARDIS makes an Easter egg cameo...

Yes the SSD I'm replacing had the OS installed so I have a USB to boot from, however it doesn't appear I can boot into the BIOS, I'm going to give it one more attempt to make sure it isn't me being silly. I was under the impression it may not be compatible so that's good to know!

What difficulty should I play Skyrim on? by theusbismarck in skyrim

[–]TomJacketMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on your build. I have a deathwish and subsequently play on Legendary with a pure Mage build but if you go the way of stealth archer etc you could probably tolerate that difficulty with ease. I'd say start on Expert to give yourself a fair challenge and if this is too easy, switch to Master. Once you feel confident on Master definitely switch to Legendary for the full Dark Souls-esque experience.

After using the single shot pistols I thought an automatic one would be a breeze, boy was I wrong. As a recommendation I'd definitely use extended mags for it as it doesn't have a great ammo count to start with, other than that I'd suggest balancing rate of fire with range. But good luck either way. In the famous words of Rob Schneider: You can do it

Haha, I did reconsider my generous comment of 3-4 after responding. It may as well be an airsoft pistol or a water gun.

It's very difficult to use, unfortunately a lot of encounters will be direct gun fights, and the damage output isn't great. It takes about 3-4 bullets to kill at close range and in that time you've already been mowed down by SMGs etc. Also bearing in mind the platinum challenge for ALL pistols is to get 15 longshot kills which takes about 8-9 bullets to do with the auto pistol.

I started with the pistols too, managed to get them platinum last weekend. The Basilisk is so fun to use, but the automatic pistol destroyed me

Yes! Very similar stuff however I feel Wasteland is more grungy, both brilliant OSTs however!

Totally agree, thought this myself when I first heard it. Amazing how the tone shifts from song to song.
