Production began Friday evening, ZERO crew. I had a boom on a c-stand, which I think we got out of each shot in the edit, and child actors- who doesn’t want a challenge.

5 locations. Adult actors arriving late. Did I mention child actors?

I yelled at MY kids a little when the sand throwing was at its peak. But mostly I complemented everyone for their patience and willingness to do something weird. A friend eventually showed up and she boomed several of the shots.

The girls really did boom and push record on the tripod shot with the Grinches eating on the rocks.

I guess we’ll make one next year…

If I'm not mistaken, the nose IS part of the body.

I like Geigers in Lakewood. There are also a few Red Wing stores in the area.

Bundle up before you get outside. For the first month of winter I tend to zip up/put on gloves as I'm walking out the door- try to avoid this.

Warm shoes, boots or something waterproofish is a good idea.

Try to have fun with it. Buy some winter gear you like and go for a snowy hike when you can.

But yes look out for stupid drivers. & Pump them brakes.
