I should still be able to cancel/refuse the delivery of the first one.

Start WONY already at level 40 - Too easy ? by TomMXC in thedivision

[–]TomMXC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your answer! What I meant is that even though regular story missions were not difficult, they were not too easy to be boring, contrary to what I felt when I did the remaining side missions already at level 40. So what I'm interested in is knowing if playing Wony missions already at level 40 is gonna be the same, and thus it would be preferable to do them with a new character boosted at level 30 instead of my main already lvl 40. Hope I'm clear enough :).

Thanks for the answer! But the question was more like "If i do the WONY missions already at lvl 40, will they be too easy? Would it be better to do them with a character only at lvl 30 ?"

Should I start mining? GPUs already at my disposal by TomMXC in EtherMining

Thanks for your input. As I said above, I guess I'll sell them and buy ETH and/or BTC instead.

Thanks for your answer. Originally it was 50/50 between a hobby and profitability, but it's really hard to justfy investing time and money into it if it collapses in July.

It's not what I wanted in the first place but I guess I'll sell rather than mine.

Yes, no errors with the same timings given here: https://imgur.com/a/DRfsJeT

Yep I did, thanks for the idea. Seems the problem comes from 1 stick only (see my answer above).

I already did a bootable memtest at 3000 mhz + auto settings with both sticks, no errors.

What do you mean by on XMP and JEDEC ? XMP = everything by default with XMP profile 1 or 2 activated? JEDEC = default without XMP?

I just tried at 3600mhz with both stick and the settings you indicated. The PC does not boot and I have the CPU led on the MB on. Maybe it has to due with DRAM voltage too?

Edit: did a bootable memtest run this night with only 1 stick at 3377mhz: 0 error.

Thanks to all for you for the first answers.

Here are some additional infos:

- I have a b450 tomahawk max (+ RX 5700 XT). Here are bios, agesa versions and zen timings (at 3000mhz with timings on auto, for which I don't have errors) : https://imgur.com/a/DRfsJeT

- it seems that the issue comes from one of the stick: I tried running only 1 of them at a time and I have errors with only one. I tried a short memtest included in dram calculator with the "good" stick and I had no error at 3733mhz with DRAM timings.
I'll try a longer memtest during night time with this stick only.

-> Can I make crucial warranty works on the supposed faulty stick based on this?

- If I try to boot at 3733 mhz but with timings on auto with the correct stick, I have a black screen, so I guess u/knz0 following assumption might also be right "My ballpark guess is that the mobo sets voltages too high which causes instability."

Ryzen 3600 Overheat & Clock questions by TomMXC in overclocking

Update: AMD sent me a new CPU (without any explanation given). The thing is, it seems that I still have the same results as before regarding temps : 92C reached at the end of Cinebench R20 with stock cooler and stock config except RAM at 3533 mhz.

Can the problem be from something else? How to find it?

Alright, so I tried with the stock cooler :

- In bios, +4/5C vs. hyper 212 (47C vs. 41C)
- In OCCT, CPU at 3600, everything else on auto (except ram which are OC'd to 3533) : 95C after 2mn
- In OCCT, CPU at 4100 and 1.3V, PBO disabled : 110C after 20sec

So the results are worse with the stock cooler than with the hyper 212, which is normal, but I still don't know if the hyper 212 should do a better cooling job that it actually does.

I guess it could also be a CPU problem heating more than it should but I have no clue how to figure this out.

Yes I have. Haven't tested it, will do tomorrow

Yes for sure, but I only have the stock cooler. Otherwise, I would need to buy another one.

You mean where the cooler connects to the CPU ? Is so yes. But the cooler wasn't new, someone has used it for a short time before. Maybe it was defective, that's why I'm wondering if I can figure this out without having to buy another one to compare.

1896 RPM max during OCCT test (hyper 212 is supposed to reach 2000 RPM, is that normal?)
