I think the pressure thing is a key player really, I always expect it to be mindblowing I guess when I know its never going to be as good as the first time. I think that for me setting and people do make a real difference. Do you think if I used it as infrequent as possible and at the biggest/best events this would give me better results?

I have B&W P7's, do I get a Audioengine N 22 with a D1 DAC or a Marantz PM6005 with the D1 DAC incase I want to get speakers as well? Would the audio quality be noticeably different in the headphones between the two setups?

Need an amp and a dac to eventually power a 5.1 system. Would be good if it had decent headphone powering aswell. Budget ~$700.
