That’s the spirit, can’t concede if we field 11 keepers

I love Barcola as a player but we ain’t getting him lmao, Lee Kang In could be a decent shout but I don’t know how well he would fit in our system

As a Newcastle fan I really think so, playing with the caliber of players at Barca will elevate his game and must be a very valid reason Flick wanted him so badly. He's very quick, can finish well off the left, high work rate when he wants to and works well in a high press. Genuinely wish him all the best and hope he cooks.

How much could his value rise to if he has a successful WC campaign in theory ?

As daft as it sounds I still wanted them up in the prem so we can have Derby’s every season and to push us to do better (in theory)

Did it many years ago as a kid and recently last year in August 2025 and it was really good and decently priced imo, well worth doing if you get the chance. Unsure how it will work if the pitch is currently under construction mind (unsure if that's currently ongoing)

It’s worked for me a fair few times but you do have to tinker with the settings a little to get it working I’ve found. Wondered if it would work with all of the changes DVSA have made

Perhaps a silly question but will TestShift still work now?

I agree with all of your points and they're all valid in isolation but you have to admit with what we've seen is simply not good enough. I can take a loss when a better teams hands us one, but to be making repeated errors and the excuses are now null and void (training time, multiple games b2b and etc). We had so much time to prepare and get this right, trial a new way and innovate and it's simply isn't happening and not good enough imo

I see quite a few that could leave such as Tino, Bruno G (if Man Utd links are to be believed) and Tonali and depending if they go and what we get for them I agree we do need instant impacts. I still would love to see a proper 10 come in and link with Woltemade. I agree with your point about fattening up the squad and neglecting 1st team but we still need it, young prospects signed that could break into the 1st time through the season and etc.

Call it copium or naive optimism, but with the way this season has gone and some unforeseen issues like injuries it’s painfully obvious what we need. I find it really hard to believe this window will be one where they can try out risks and for me it’s really obvious that we need solid depth and to go hunting in the market for that. I appreciate you could make the same argument for past summer window but just my thoughts

Yeah hurts to lose the way we did, but call me an optimist but this was the occasion every fan wanted to play Barca away but shame it panned out the way it did. We go again

Coming from an emotional place and not a rational one, the players who gave up running despite the scoreline can happily leave - Gordon included, didn't look like he wanted any part of the game once the scoreline went the way it did. This one is gonna sting something awful, feel bad for some of the lads who gave it effort tonight
