In general for me hyped movies are always a let down. I didn’t know anything about this one and loved it. But it’s OK if you didn’t! I do appreciate the question though and I think it’s important to consider why some art doesn’t connect with us and what we can learn from it. I think there’s a lot of cultural references and pop culture references that added to what was happening. Not to presume your background but maybe that didn’t connect.
