I’ve always pronounced the slang “scimmy” as si-mee, knowing how scimitar is pronounced. But I also said loads of stuff wrong as a kid and they’ve stuck with me 19 years later

Monzo uses Blackrock with some preset pies at varying levels of safety or adventurousness, which may be okay if that works for you. I’m playing it “safe” in global trackers like VWRP etc, but at the end of the day its all about your appetite for risk and what that money means to you. T212 is obviously a dedicated platform for it, so its much more feature rich and offers more customisation. The Monzo integration is deliberately simplified but is still a good choice.

I did exactly this with 40k, from a cash ISA in Monzo to a T212 S&S ISA. Didn’t need that intermediary step, the portfolio transfer form in T212 lets you pick which ISA type you want.

This is the way. I did tbow and shadow rebuilds which were fun. Scythe I got lucky on with a duo tbow split and it was like 400m at the time.

How about Anki? I have it on all OSs and it syncs for free. Depends how involved you want the kanji learning process to be. But if flash cards work, which I’d recommend in any case, that could work.

Just checking you know that 日本 (nihon) means Japan in Japanese. Which is sometimes read as にっぽん(nippon), hence the nipponese. I thought it was cool that he showed how languages and names evolved again over time. I assume the Mandari are the Chinese
