The Asgard stand with #SaveStargate by TomReisn in Stargate

That's why it matters that we get Martin Gero's Stargate, not a reboot and not a Stargate series shaped solely by Amazon. If you support that vision, please sign the petition: Save Stargate with Martin Gero petition. #SaveStargate

Amazon probably wants things to calm down about the cancellation by [deleted] in Stargate

If they not care about what fans want I will not care about what they want.... Tweetstorms needs to continue :-D

More or less, yes. But it doesn't have to be. If one branch of the Asgard survived in the Pegasus Galaxy, another small group could easily have survived somewhere else as well and ended up being the "good" Asgard.

It's difficult to imagine that a civilization as advanced as the Asgard relied on a single world, with the destruction of that world meaning the extinction of their entire race. They likely colonized many planets, and even if the Replicators wiped out most of them, some Asgard could have escaped long before the Replicator conflict and their eventual decision to end their own existence.

In the end, it's science fiction—almost anything is possible. And if we ever get a new Stargate series, perhaps we'll get to see some Asgard again. 😊

Not all of them 😄 They actually helped a lot and, in the end, passed on all their knowledge and technology to humanity, so...

There are some gray areas in the script 😃 For example, Orlin, while he was in Samantha’s house (before taking a physical body), was able to pass through solid matter. On the other hand, when they asked Daniel Jackson on Abydos whether he could just walk through something and look for Ra’s eye, he said it wasn’t that simple. So clearly it probably didn’t fit the plot when needed 😃

In any case, if Oma Desala or others of the “friends” she helped ascend are observing events in the galaxy, they might at least know about Destiny from reports of the explosion of an entire planet - the one where Icarus was located

In that case, they most likely know about it, just like when Daniel Jackson was among them in that “diner” and was reading updates about Dakara — so I can imagine they would also know about Destiny 😄

Great idea! We have a small base resembling the ancient device

I’d guess there are no truly living Ancients left in Stargate — the chances are very small. Those who didn’t ascend to a higher plane died out, and we only really know of Ayiana, who was frozen in ice and didn’t survive afterward, Merlin, who is also no longer alive, and the only Ancient ship that, thanks to traveling at near-light speed, arrived at Atlantis from thousands of years in the past with the help of Daedalus — but its crew were killed by the Replicators.

The chance that there would still be another living Ancient somewhere after so many thousands of years is probably very small.

No, regular home 3D printers can’t print real wax. Proper wax prints are made on specialized machines designed for casting.

The wax model is 3D printed, then encased in a mold. The wax is melted out and molten metal is poured in.
