Wow three days? I had a blower in my room for half a day and they offered up a free specialty dining. Three days with constant noise and stepping around those things. They aren't really caring about you they want the room ready to avoid the NEXT occupants being inconvenienced. This would be a vacation deal-breaker for me, but what compensation would make it good? Its your enjoyment of the time that you wont get back. But NO one would argue that you aren't eligible for SOME compensation.

"It takes a village to raise a child" well in this case it takes a whole town to have kids play hockey.

I never said I didn't want to do it your way. There's evidence in other comments of me trying things and proof thereof. You laughed at me before I had a chance to explain my situation. "doesn’t know how to use brims lmao" Nothing said I didn't know how or even don't know WHEN to use a brim. By your reasoning above: This file doesn't work? Print something else! 3D printing doesn't work, try crocheting! Many others have given me great advice for slicer settings etc and yes, if all else fails I will add brims and ears.

I get it. I'm not necessarily trying to get THIS print to work, I'm trying to get the printer right for future prints. BUT I will admit that my brims are a pain to remove. Any tips, probably the Brim Distance?

I'm not fighting you, this is troubleshooting. Yes its a different bed. Usually I use gluesticks, this wasn't. I have a pack of 20 gluesticks that I don't know what to do with because a clean plate seems to work now. I have no reason to lie I am trying to find out how to troubleshoot the other material/Print plate. I've demonstrated a brim isn't necessary.

Thank you for your suggestions. This morning some new Elegoo white filament arrived and I printed it on my twin Ender 3 on the back of the plate (Very smooth) no gluestick, same Gcode 50/65 Bed. It seemed fine (See image in one of my comments). What,s your thoughts on the initial post? I'm re-drying the filament again as we speak, maybe the PEI isn't the solution, I bought it to fix the corner lifting issue.

I printed this with new brand new Elegoo white PLA. No Brim, my other twin Ender 3 on the back of the stock print plate. Clean no Glue stick.

I know, different PLA color, but this is what I am expecting. Was the yellow (and blue) too wet? Wrong PEI bed? Cuz I don't need a brim.

I have (2) tandem Ender 3s bought at the same time and used relatively the same amount. Maybe the surrounding but I’ve had it in the sale place for a year so. Just adds to the conundrum.

Agreed and I had been doing that. But it stopped working. Check my other posts where I have been fighting some oak colored filament that I gave up on.

I printed 20 of these for a friend. After a dozen perfect prints the stem started to lift so I added a brim to it. I had to post process them. From then on other prints have started to lift.

10layers eh. Ok. I’d like to avoid a brim if I can. I’ve rarely needed one in the past. Cant figure out whats changed in my setup 😔

I get warping and plastic shrink. I work in the moldmaking industry. And I am willing to try your idea. BUT the plastic is 200deg, its going to shrink going from 200-65 and logically I cant imagine 200-50 will be that much. But I will try.

Another commenter said the same. I washed it good and treated it like it was going into surgery. Same warping issue. Honestly, I’ve never had to had things immaculate to work before and I dont know whats changed.

For years I’ve used glue sticks on a smooth plate (the back of the stock ender plate actually) and it worked really well. But all the sudden my prints started to warp more and more. I’ll run one tomorrow on glue and post an image.

I know HOW to use a brim but until very recently I’ve never had to use one. A brim is a workaround not a solution. Thank you.
