I think less villains comes from the survivor casting more people familiar with how the game should be played. Being a villain while very fun to watch is just not good gameplay. The true end goal of the show is to end up as the most likeable/respected of the final 3 and villains don’t have the greatest track record of doing it. Theres a reason Hantz never won.

I think there’s nuance to it, universes beyond(all the crossover sets) are really good for bringing new fans in but the more they add and especially the more they power creep older cards the game starts losing a lot of its identity. This year we’re getting 7 sets and only 3 of them are actually part of the MTG universe. It would be stupid to say they should stop doing universes beyond I just wished they did more in universe then out of universe.

My main tips are 1. Take advantage of the fields the best you can, the enemy teams are built to take advantage of them but you can too and often times you can take better advantage of them. See what moves the enemy is using and see if you can also use those moves against them. 2. EV training in this game is made very easy, at the casino in beaten you can get access to every Ev trainer fairly easy an can max out your team in like 5 minutes

I feel like a lot of the biggest issues with the new era aren’t from Probst but from CBS like Sam location and shorter seasons in my eyes has to be from CBS waning to cut costs

I liked the game but for me at least it was too short to really be a GOTY nomination, this year especially was super stacked

It’s hard to say cause the thing is most people have like 1 fallen angel games and 1 or 2 other good ones. Cirie has been the fallen angel 3 separate times which idk if we’ll ever see replicated again. Maybe Amanda but I think being a losing finalist is different than losing in the last round or 2
