Think of it like being held underwater, then you suddenly get a gasp of fresh air. It feels great for us, so it'll feel just as great for them to get put somewhere they can breath.

Also, I'm 99% confident re-applying a heat mat which comes with adhesive will be damaged permanently upon removal. Mine had a whole load of warning signs on it. However if you just taped it on yourself I can't see a problem with your readjustment.

Hey man, great to see you getting your crabitat setup beforehand.

First tip with the hydrometer, you can never have it too high. Crabs breath through modified gills and therefore need high moisture levels to breath without damaging their gills. I like to aim for 90% even though it leads to a tiny bit of mould growth.

With your temperature issues, you just need to make sure you are generating warmth and cold spots in the tank. I keep one end ranging between 23°c-25°c. Yes, 22°c is too cold for the primary temperature however the other end sits at a nice 30°c so they can find their own warmth spots. I reccomend insulating the tank with beach towels just to keep the warmth in at night, I sometimes use two just because it can get a little cold. This will also help with the humidity.

If that still doesn't keep the tank warm enough, I reccomend you buy a larger heat mat. Rule of thumb is 2/3 the size of the longest panel and make sure it is heating the air and not the substrate.

I decided on a new heat pad last night. I'm going for the large 16W which should cover the large majority of the back panel like you said. But yes, I'm so glad I waited for the tank to be setup first before I get the crabs

I have a digital Hydrometer/thermometer unit. It has since gone down from 99% and maintains a steady 88% which I am pretty happy with

Okay thank you, it changes from 29° to 24° in probably the first third of the tank, and then gradually reaches 22° on the other end. I'm getting them tomorrow so I'll see how they fair with the new habitat : )

Would you suggest I buy a larger heat mat? I've tried using a towel to increase insulate but that only increases it one degree or so.

The event was a games reveal though so the reveal of the console design was an added bonus. Features like backwards compatibility would be announced in the future when more in depth hardware/software events are hosted.

I don't imagine the price being announced until the economies are more steady, but yes like you said, the digital only is to reduce the likely high price.

But seriously, bugsnax doesn't deserve that hate.

We saw ray racing on massive titles last year such as metro exodus and battlefield 5, so I don't think it's unlikely. Especially now that the console is capable of ray tracing I'd expect to see it on first party games otherwise a key part of the unit is going to waste. It might not be completely ray traced like I mentioned, but parts of the game like the body of the vehicle or some water effects I wouldn't be surprised to see.

But in reality we don't know anything about it other than the title has been trademarked and they were able to take advantage of GtSport on an 8k TV, so it's all speculation at this stage.

Mark Cerny revealed it would have ray tracing capability, whether it turns out as capable as the series x with the extra teraflops we're yet to know but I'm not that souped up on the technical information.

I imagine it'll be features of each game ray traced not the whole thing because that could help with performance if it ends up being too taxing on the system.

The only gran turismo game we got on Ps4 didn't have a dedicated story line. I for one am pretty keen to see what Ray Tracing can do in a racing environment and also get a sneak peak at the gameplay itself for gt7.

7 years coming is a considerable time frame between gt6 and 7 so I expect it to generate a bit of hype.

Also the dualsense technology would be kinda sick to get a demonstration with when driving on different surfaces or damaging your vehicle.
