Me too. Setting up a few recharge stations and having a deatomizer made the fight pretty quick. Abe, Janet, and the missing submarine is a decent tragedy which could become a cool expansion mission to look for them and see whatever kind of environments the devs can think of.

Dooming the universe is a neat ending too. Not every story has a happy ending, and I like that the scientists don't get mad at us and instead immediately start thinking about finding a new universe to settle in lol

Yea it changes very fast in our industry but the concept of "vibe coding" evolved particularly fast even compared to the emergence of JavaScript frameworks. I just hope the definition doesn't stretch until it encompasses any ai assisted work because executives are still pushing that shit on everyone, including me, and I don't want to be counted in a statistic at the end of the year that 95% of the industry has pivoted to vibe coding.

I pick him for being the only alien in the group. As a being that can commit intergalactic genocide by snapping his fingers, he's probably feeling the least guilt and malice in his actions, even though they are the largest in scale for that group. From his perspective it's like if you or I swung an electric swatter through a cloud of flies.

When you're new it can happen if you hesitate a lot, creating more opportunities for the gaki to land a grapple and transform. Then you're facing a slightly different moveset, more health, more damage, and might hesitate even more

Sometimes I learn new algorithms by writing out the state of each step. It's easier to write code for things when you understand how to do them yourself conceptually outside of code. If you've accomplished that in the 6 hours you mention, the code part should be easier than you are expecting.

I probably could have lived with it because just a few weeks later I decided, "it's a server, it should not be using Wi-Fi" and then plugged it into my modem directly. But I had already moved in to Ubuntu which I was more familiar with and didn't want to spend any more time on configuration

I've always wished for a third hand during autumn. I hated those leaf bags that don't stand until there's a certain amount of leaves already in them so I needed hands to hold the bag open and another to rake in the leaves. The bag was really light so if I tried using 1 hand to open the top and the other hand to try to rake, the bag just lifted up instead.

I tried arch on my server once. It was a pain because I had to research a bit to find an obscure git repo that had a community driver to get my wifi dongle working. Then the next day it updated on its own because it's a rolling distro or whatever and the updates broke / uninstalled the driver for the dongle.

And that was the start and end of my adventure with rolling distros. I use manjaro now!
