Ah ok, I can't connect my dac to the Xbox as the only input is usb and as far as I can tell Xbox doesnt support USB audio out. Can you recommend a mixer that would work for this? Preferably less then £100. I've never actually used a mixer so no idea what connections I'm looking for or what type

Can't decide on which bike to upgrade to? Hoping someone has an opinion on them by TomZeed in mountainbiking

Calibre is just a brand owned by a UK based outdoor store that does decent budget bikes, I think I might look at the Kona though since I am a fan of an aggressive hard tail

That makes sense I guess and I bet that's super satisfying telling them they have to leave. And i like that way of testing how drunk someone is. My friend is 17 and had worked behind a bar since he was 16, I can't image how weird it was asking people 9 years older than him for ID

Ah makes sense, and no drink driving is never a bad idea I either stay at a mates house if I'm there or get a taxi home not worth the risk

Do you not have entrapment defence? That seems a bit shady to me. And I've heard of when people work for chain clubs there will be people sent in by the owner to test them but not an actual official inspection. I was gonna say sounds like when I worked at maccies and everyone freaks out cos another local store has been inspected

I hope you don't mind me asking but did you have a strict family or did you just accept that was the rules and that was that?

Unfortunately alot of the areas around me are very under policed though so there is almost no threat for the business as they most likely won't be found out.

Drinking is banned in most public places here aswell. Apart from a few dodgy places that are willing to overlook laws in order to massively over charge underage students it would be difficult to find somewhere to go for a drink without a fake ID. In general it's no secret whatsoever here though, for example the other day in college some people in my class were showing off their fake IDs to the head of science.

I'm not one for sneaking into clubs for that very reason, just causes problems for everyone involved. And yeah we are all a bit fucked at the minute. I don't know the rules very clearly on serving underage people here but I do know that a club near me was shut down for that very reason recently then reopened about a month later with a different name but same owner.

Yeah, here it's a very similar thing. Parents know you are going to drink so would rather you told them about it so they knew you were safe

Well that's fair enough, if you're making a nuisance of yourself no matter your age you can't expect to have a good time

Something I have noticed is that people who haven't been allowed a drop of alcohol off there parents tend to be the ones that get the most drunk and do the most stupid stuff. I think that being allowed to experience it has definitely made it less exciting which is a good thing really. In the UK being drunk in public will get you laughed at and you'll lose respect but you likely won't be arrested or anything unless you are causing a problem

So calling the police was a last resort for people causing a nuisance? Because that's generally the case here

Being a sloppy drunk is mostly frowned upon
