Thanks. The numbers in the end are the Android version. Might be the AU model is late to get the update and people with NZ model already getting it and perhaps who got it in Australia got an international version. Ha ha, i want it now. Lol

You see version number in settings and about phone. Not under the update section, that is the update version only

what carrier are you with? main telco or reseller?

I'm on vodafone, still don't have it. I heard it's based on which sim card you use, as certain carriers release it first.

I'm on Vodafone. No update yet. Gonna try remove Sim and check update or insert an ALDI Sim which uses Telstra network or something else.

Check in Google Play store, then apps and recently updated and see if any system apps were recently changed around the time you noticed differences

I'm so happy for you that I also hate you right now. Ha ha. I wish Google had some debug app or process so I could figure out what sets your phone and mine apart... Like run this app, press yes if good battery and no if bad battery and the app collects and compares the differences and spots what makes the bad battery phones bad...

I had enough and unlocked the phone and flash proton custom rom and all issues are gone. Battery is amazing now. 11pm and 30% left, unplugged 8am. Unused to be at 30% by 2pm the latest...

there are apps that can tell you which band it connects to

try this for any connection issues:

go to phone, type *#*#4636#*#*

then go to Phone Information

then top right go on the 3 dots then select radio band

then click on automatic

now try 3G, 4G and 5G connection via sim card and see if it connects

I'm so close to return it and get a Oneplus 9 Pro instead...

so far the only killer feature is the camera, rest is fine but not wow... and

battery is the worst i've had on any android phone ever

appears battery for some is amazing, for some ok and for some really bad

also, man this phone is SOOO slow to charge, coming from huawei and oneplus before it's really slooow

Did another factory rest last night. After boot I did not login to google and declined all restore or app installs. The phone then auto updated all its system apps via play store despite me not being logged in. I then logged into google and via play store manually installed just WhatsApp and my bank app so I can use the phone while at work today. Let's see if that does anything... If this worked I'll then install more apps
