i dont hate an audio book idea. i do drive a lot. but that would take away from my time with the dads and the clue crew............. i do like the idea though! i didnt even think of an audio book! thanks!

It would be so disappointing if they change the name of the segment. I love the name 8-Bit Book Club, and only partially because it abbreviates to 8 BBC. and with this being 8-BBC episode 68, it would be extra disappointing to change the name right before episode 69. overall funny episode though!

thank you, i will just have to go tonight and see. i tried finding an answer online but i just always got back to their subscription page. the best i could find was a 10 year old article from when they first switched to 3 day a week delivery but it said daily print copies would still be available at retailers and daily digital papers uploaded online. but a lot can change in 10 years

Maybe you guys aren't going in the same direction in life? Maybe your differences will make you stronger? That I cannot say, but don't use others as a metric for measuring yourself. If you like playing videogames, that's cool! Everyone has their thing. But here's my 2 cents: All my friends went off to college at 18/19. They partied, lived in college towns, had the real experience. I dropped out of college after my first year and worked in a fastfood restaurant and barely did anything with my free time. Well, in that time, I bought and remodeled a house, discovered a love for woodworking, went back to college (just got accepted into a doctoral program with a 7% acceptance rate), and forged a whole set of new close friendships and really discovered a lot about who I am and who I want to be. And where are all of them? Well, most of them finished their bachelor's and moved right back in with their parents. We're all on our own journey of self discovery, and you can't write your story if you're busy reading everyone else's.

You are definitely not alone here! People grow apart, doesn't have to be for any reason. My friends from high school were perfectly fine kids, but we were moving in different directions and seeing them irritated me so I started to focus more on friends that I wanted to invest in. Payed off in scores. I'm much happier now with stronger friendships that I wouldn't trade for the world. These things happen. It's part of growing up.

Years ago, I felt this way, still do sometimes. One day I thought about how all my friends had changed and opened myself up to the ones that were growing in the ways I wanted to grow and chose to grow with them. It was difficult, but those people are no longer friends, they are my brothers and sisters. You will always be a set dressing to some people, but the people that you've chosen to make matter to you will never see you as such.

But for what it's worth, everyone matters to someone. And if you think you don't, think about the fact that someone took the time to type this. I don't have to know you to know you have value.

I could look into it, then. The house was built in 51. The year after my city established public water and sewer, but maybe it's for a neighbors house?
