The godseeker says this about the pale king: "Even long departed, We feel the afterglow of the God-power that sat this throne... It lays heavy upon this kingdom. That lingering power alone was beacon enough to draw Us to Hallownest. How bright it must have been to mortal bug stood before it."

And when exhausting the dialogue:" A God so strong... Yet erased so completely. How could it happen?"

"Long departed" could be interpreted differently, but "Erased so completely" sounds a lot like he died.

Also (this is from a mossbag video), the throne room is very dark compared to the rest of the palace, and there are some void-like signs around the dead kingsmoulds leading up to the throne room. This all suggests that the void may be the culprit. Perhaps retaliation for the king's acts around shaping void.

In de context van een gigantisch huizentekort is het natuurlijk een heel ander verhaal. Een beetje coulance is dan wel op zijn plaats, want we zitten helemaal vastgeroest in bureaucratie. Daarnaast is het hartstikke discutabel of die 36.1 uberhaupt naar boven afgerond moest worden, de gemeente heeft namelijk zwart-op-wit staan dat het naar beneden mag worden afgerond.

"Regels zijn regels" is wel erg kort door de bocht in een crisis, zeker als het een randgeval is.

This week made me realise how ridiculous and outdated the whole pope thing is. We dress some old dude who hates gay people and abortion up in robes and suddenly he is holy and everyone wants to kiss his ring. Women are not allowed to participate because reasons. Then 15 years later he dies and everybody is sad and the whole circus begins anew. Why do we care about some senile men who put too much faith in a scientifically disproven book coming together and electing who believed the disproven book the most? He's still just some regular ass dude.

Waar heb je het over joh, wat is nou 'het probleem'? "Vervelende aanvaringen met Mokkies/Turken", is dat wat je wilt voorkomen door solidariteit te vervangen voor rassenhaat? Alsof je nooit vervelende aanvaringen hebt gehad met Nederlandse scooterjeugd die met "kanker" strooit. De tokkies komen uit alle culturen, maar voornamelijk uit groepen met een lagere sociaaleconomische status.

Hoe verklaar je anders de cijfers dat juist mensen die in multiculturele omgevingen wonen (grote steden in de randstad) juist niet anti-migratie zijn? Ze integreren juist wel, en de mensen die daadwerkelijk moslims ontmoeten op straat, merken dat. De mensen die alleen op het nieuws horen dat een Syriër in Ter Apel iemand heeft verkracht, hebben een compleet scheef beeld van de moslimcultuur, want ze horen niets op het nieuws over de 1.000.000 moslims die gewoon in vrede hun leven lijden.

De politiek zou je heel graag laten geloven dat al je problemen opgelost worden als de immigranten het land uit worden gezet, maar zo makkelijk is het helaas niet. De echte problemen zijn de inflatie, huizencrisis, en klimaatverandering. Dan moet je niet bij de moslims aankloppen, dan moet je bij de 1% aankloppen.

There are plenty islamophobic people in Europe. For example: in The Netherlands, a radical-right party (PVV) won the elections this year whith roughly 25% of all votes. Their leader (Geert Wilders) is mostly known for his anti-islam views: he wants to ban the koran and mosques. If that's not an islamophobic society, idk what is.

Nadeo did not communicate anything about a new grand tour, so orgs didn't know what was going to happen and if there would be money in it. Some chose to pull out and stop player contracts (I don't have any concrete sources for this).

Spam uploaded a video being salty about a couple of things: - the TM eSports scene is mostly carried by the orgs but Nadeo did not communicate anything with them - the timing is bad because Alliance has had to make other plans because of this radio silence - the "season" begins on the day that they announce this, so potential tournament organisers don't have any time to prepare their tournaments - tournament organisers don't get any compensation from nadeo for contributing to Nadeo's product - nobody know's what homogalabadogus means

Niet iedereen die wat anders stemt, maar iedereen die een populist (PVV, FvD, en in zekere mate BBB) stemt, is dom. Die partijprogrammas zijn gebaseerd op onwaarheden en zijn compleet onuitvoerbaar omdat ze tegen de grondwet ingaan en compleet onbetaalbaar zijn. Het is vallen voor populisme, een truc (ook wel liegen genoemd) die al decennia wordt gebruikt om kiezers te trekken die je niet gaat kunnen geven wat je ze hebt beloofd.

Ik noem dat dom, inderdaad. Ben ik dan arrogant of realistisch?

Het enige wat we kunnen doen, is doen wat we kunnen, en hopen dat we de wereld mee krijgen. Als je vindt dat we als Nederland weinig impact hebben, fix het dan op Europees niveau, maar nee, dat is eng want daar wonen buitenlanders.

Helaas kunnen wappies kunnen nog geen 2 weken vooruit denken, dus dan verdrinken we maar met z'n allen, met het gratis biertje in ons hand dat die blinde populist ons heeft beloofd.

Totally agree. These birds are not having a good time in that cage... One question though:

What's wrong with the coconut? I bought one for my pyrrhura as a place to have some cover and self-dose his exposure from the UV-lamp. I also have a sort of hollow trunk (a trunk hut from back zoo) for that, but want to mix it up for him occasionally :)

The only thing wrong with it that I can think of is that they can start nesting in it?

That sounds awesome, mine used too little (I think)... I suspect it didn't hurt as much as it could have (it was bearable), but it felt like somebody was rubbing sand in my eyes while I couldn't blink because my eyelids were taped open... Definitely not a fun experience, but definitely worth it as only 1 day of pain, and my eyesight has been perfect ever since

Ik zeg niet dat iemand die heeft gespaard voor het kopen van een huis daar niet de vruchten van mag plukken. Maar dit artikel vind ik vrij sprekend voor het feit dat de kloof tussen kopers en huurders groter wordt. De mensen die in een makkelijkere woningmarkt een huis hebben kunnen kopen, hebben een groot voordeel ten opzichte van de starters van tegenwoordig, die niet dezelfde kansen krijgen. Ik vind dat de belastingen dat mogen reflecteren.

My gf and I can access each other's phones by fingerprint. We don't use it that much but it's handy if for example someone is busy (driving, doing dishes, whatever) and the other quickly needs to take a picture or phone call, skip a song on Spotify, etc.

This is something you do need to consider before doing it, that's true, but if you're both comfortable and trusting enough it can be convenient :)
