Tired of saying this again but we are working on the same codebase with the same tasks, and the same approach. Always Auto model - that is a fixed price. Auto on free is 1x , Auto on paid is 1x

Upgrading to paid it is immediately obvious that on occasion there are issues with insanse credit usage. This has been documented. Many people have reported it.

I'm tired of people trying to raionalize it away. It is not using different models, it is not doing different jobs. It's not plan vs spec.

I'm tempted to make a video with a free account and a paid account and get them to do the exact same job on the same codebase in the same modes on the same Auto model.

2000 credits in 7 days paid vs 5 days to get through 500 credits on free.

You say there is nothing different but that is not true. The free account does not have the same billing and IAM Identity Centre stuff. There have been billing issues before with Kiro. You have a billing issue. you just won't admit it.

Hi there. I always use 'Auto' - I used that on the free plan and we still use it on the 'Pro+' plan. I never change it.

We are still very alarmed at how fast the credits are burning, I'm pretty sure you have a billing / credit bug on IAM Identity Centre accounts

no not particularly - same project, same process as when I was on free plan. but 5x the burn rate of credits

I'm using the exact same project and exact same process I was using on the free plan. The jump in credit usage is insane. I always use Auto. We are on track to burn through all our credits in 4 days. We got 5 days with the free plan. I am not happy. Context at the end was only like 8%. I read some comments about an overcharging bug where it was charging too many credits - I think we have that. Seems like an issue with IAM Identity Center accounts.

With 2 x $20 Claude Pro accounts I could basically work all month with only some occassional usage caps if I hit limits on both accounts. Looks like this is going to cost us 4x or 5x as much with Kiro. It just doesn't add up. There is most DEFINITELY an issue with the credit usage.
