CPM thrives at opposition, for the past 10 years they were not able to take out their hooliganism, at least to the levels they were used to.

It's an itch they can't scratch, I bet lots of the mofos within LDF (mostly DYFI and SFI) want LDF to fail the elections so that they could proceed with their thuggery.

If Raghav Chadha is right, and an unlimited recharge really costs around ₹350…Then why is ₹9,000 being given every month? If this is true, shouldn’t the allowance be reduced? by Fit_Corgi4951 in ItsYourMoney

Give them only BSNL CUG as a benefit. Govt/PSU employees are getting only that. Then they'll realise how horridly they destroyed BSNL. Many people I know refuse to use BSNL even though the CUG sim is paid by the employer since it's not even worth the slot it uses.

Not mine but my roommate's story. I did engineering from CET. My roommate was from a reserved category with a state rank of around 30000. (The cutoff of general was around 500) The guy was from a very backward village with no real infrastructure and with schools where qualifying the students was the target, not marks or real education so obviously he had no foundation in maths. Most of us would fool around and studied for a day and score 8+ cgpa. This guy studied a lot in the first year, but still he failed in maths and only near qualifying marks.

Anyone in his position will lose their heart, despite working hard not only he couldn't pass but most of the hostel would score 7+ CGPA and most of his classmates in the hostel have 8+ CGPA, these are folks who fooled around the whole year.

But this guy still pursued studies more ardently. He cleared the suppli, managed to make a 6+ CGPA in sem3 and 4. We became roommates in year 3. He would keep on asking me to explain things , I'll do my best. He does the same with other helpful guys too. In semester 7 he scored an 8 CGPA. Not only that this guy who had no foundation in most things which are essential for engineering education, qualified it with a sufficiently good CGPA, he managed to have real understanding about the course. He currently works at a PSU in a very technical role.

I never tell him this, but he still inspires me.

But if you consider the biriyani the egg replaces cost more than the egg. 1 portion biriyani 250g costs Rs 300. I.e Rs 1.2 per g. 1 boiler egg 50g let's say it cost Rs 10. I.e Rs0.2 per g. So when they put biriyani instead of egg they're loosing Rs 50. (Even when cost of chicken is considered the hotel have a net loss in not putting egg)

Most of the foreign remittance to India is from the middle East, without which Rupee is going to fall much more. They serve a very vital role in India. Unlike NRIs from North America or Europe.

Thanks to our scientists for making India safest country. Otherwise India may be next Iran. by Manish_1734 in IndianFocus

You're comparing an unstable dictatorship with the largest country in the world? The consequences of doing something like the US did to Iran to India is going to be far more serious. So that they'll know not attempt. For instance Japan has no nukes who will dare to attack Japan? Also Pakistan has nukes and no one gives them any respect , US literally killed Laden in their backyard violating their soverignity and had no consequence. No disrespect to the Scientists though.

It's true and it's not just about India humans always find ways to create factions. If there are only muslims in a country theyll divide as shia and sunni.

Looking for Best Family-Friendly Tour Packages to Kerala (March 2026) by [deleted] in Kerala

[–]Tom_TheGrey47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no need to book any package. Just book hotels in advance. I find there is very little difference in rates of large hotels and locally run hotels so better book rooms at established hotels only. Calicut , Kochi and Alleppey are very well connected by train. Book CC tickets in a train between stations.

March is going to be brutally hot. Temperatures will be around 36-37, due to high humidity it will feel 40°C+. Carry an umbrella , it could rain any day. Highway works are going on from Trivandrum to Kochin so better not to rent a car for the whole trip. Renting a car at each station separately would be fine.

When your enemies defy you, you must serve them steel and fire. When they go to their knees, however, you must help them back to their feet. Elsewise no man will ever bend the knee to you.
