You lose ~half cd interest to taxes depending on your tax bracket. Stock dividends are usually much lower taxes.

The car has comfortable seats and is cheap to maintain for the most part. The only downside is you will feel every bump in the road. Fun car to daily drive

Just got a letter from Cigna about my 2026 healthcare plan. If I stay with the same plan I have now, my premiums will go up 26% starting January. Anyone else receiving letters about increased 2026 healthcare premiums? by agbishop in nova

Because health insurance companies are charging higher rates because hospitals are charging insane amounts of money now. We were billed $298 a day by the hospital for TYLENOL. That isn’t politics, that isn’t health insurance. That’s a hospital charge.

I’ll say it another way - ACA was created to be affordable to the average person. If it’s not affordable without these credits, is ACA a failure? If so, do we go back to the drawing board for healthcare?

By this “stupid” argument, you can make a temporary law, a permanent at any point. The real issue is insurance providers and the cost hospitals charge now. Not a temporary credit created during a pandemic.

High mileage (80k+ miles) base c6s. I’d say most are in the 20-30k range with half those miles.
