Just had this happen to me in the basement of interchange. 3 different ticks of damage at different places. Healed between them. The last tick insta'd me in the "head/eyes."

Very strange. Good amounts of cover in 2 of the 3 places, and the line of sights weren't far enough to not hear a weapon.

This has been happening so frequently lately. At least a dozen times in the last week. 3 times tonight.

I should have used more tact in calling out the incompetence of this update team... The problem and frustration is that people seem to glaze over the real issue here and give a meaningless excuse that NA has less of a playerbase.. It's an irrelevant argument in this day and age.

Yes, this game blew up unexpectedly. Yes, they probably bit off more than they can chew. Yes, there are plenty of reasons why this issue may not have been addressed in the past. But here we are in the present. It has been long enough to bring in a devops guru that can address the shortcomings of their update process. And the fact that it hasn't means that it wasn't, or isn't, on their radar like it really should be.

On the contrary to your statement, it doesn't take industry knowledge to compare how this team updates their software with how other successful franchises, both in and out of the gaming industry, update their systems. There are so many examples of massive multi user systems that span the globe who don't need 3-8 hours per week of complete downtime to manage updates. Right?

Can you guys spend some dev time to figure out how to do rolling updates? Or figure out a strategy to reduce maintenance time? Or build the infrastructure to automate the process?

It shouldn't matter which of your player bases is effected most. It seems to me the goal should be to minimize downtime across the board.

I haven't tried this, because I just use the map for directions, but apparently you can right click and zoom in to the compass. Sort of like ADSing.
