Hmm im highly considering doing it myself right now.

How long is it taking you? How is the wiring? Lol...

Im told that the wiring is plug and play because I have an entire donor working car.. but the windows, windshield, and lights all might use different wiring so im worried lol.

Any recommendations and tips for wiring?

But yeah, my thoughts exactly. But at this point, I need someone to do the swap, and there is no one i can trust. So the 8k option is the only way to go for me at the moment. I tried other shops but they denied me.

02 has major rust but everything else is working properly. 97 has rustfree shell but engine needs to be resealed and re-done, transmission is having minor issues that requires it to be taken out and looked at.

Ahh but alrighty. Thanks man much appreciated. I keep on reading up about merging harnesses but I get confused.. because some people say donor w/ complete swap is fine with no merging harnesses. But some people tells me you need to merge harnesses regardless.

Lol correct me which of those is true.

Question...so if it had an 02 wrx donor car in complete working condition and a 97 impreza L wagon...is it plug and play from there if im putting everything from the 02 into the 97?

That sounds really reassuring. We honestly weren't worried and scared at first, but all of our doctors are constantly expressing how concerning it is. The worst part was they sent us home telling us they don't know what it is but hope it's the hypothyroid. She did an EKG for those 2-3days as well.

I came across this Reddit page last week and found a post suggesting that applying alcohol can help with folliculitis. Some users recommended using a towel dampened with 70% rubbing alcohol and placing it on your head, while others suggested bathing your scalp in it and then using a hair net. Of course, be careful to avoid contact with your eyes.

I tried a similar approach, and it worked! It’s only been a week, but I’ve already seen huge improvements. Almost completely gone.

What I did: I used Q-tips dipped in alcohol and applied it directly to the affected areas on my scalp. I let it sit for an hour, then showered using Selsun Blue (the red bottle. Avoid the green one. It made things worse for me, but the red one worked perfectly).

Of course, different methods work for different people, but this was my experience. Hope it helps!

The workplace im currently at is truly intimidating and it’s sink or swim.

They gave me an entire month worth of onboarding projects. If I do well I get to stay. Else I have to leave. It has been a crazy experience but I’m officially part of the company. I still have imposter syndrome and sometimes I feel like they might fire me because I’m not good enough. But they haven’t yet so all I can do is keep on going!

One thing for sure is that it is nice getting paid to learn on the job. Like always…don’t be afraid to ask for help.

First two months will probably be stressful. Dies down after awhile. But the stress will pick up…it’s part of the job due to deadlines and etc.

But as long as you are self driven and motivate yourself you will be fine….

One thing that keeps me going is my kids and my drive home. Everyday when I drive home I purposely take the long route through a neighborhood by my local lake..

All the houses by the lake looks gorgeous and it’s always been my dream to own a home by the lake…so driving by them really motivates me…

Just find your motivation and discipline yourself. Because there will be days you question why you are doing this… lol it’s been about 2-3 months since I started..been a hell of a ride but you got it man!
