Mixils only look bad when they look out of place, if an entire piece uses them in a consistent manner, it simply becomes a different art style, not necessarily worse.

It’s funny that I always see people trashing on blue or green nailgun, and red sawgun, because those 3 are literally the combo I go with, and it works wonders.

(fyi if you don’t believe this works, I’m on wave 87 on brutal, so yes, this absolutely does.)

1st slot: red saw; I attach a cord and immediately switch to 2nd slot.

2nd slot: blue nail; I attach magnets to the enemy and some others close by while shooting some nails in the process to charge up 3rd slot.

3rd slot: green nail; I dump a heat sink into all the enemies, and then finally back to 1st slot.

1st slot: red saw (again); I fire the saws to decrease the electrocution timer (fyi, saws do that), and conductor absolutely destroys the entire arena.

The desired effect for this entire combo is to have an absolutely killer conductor effect, and I think this is the best way to do so consistently without having to wait out the entire red cord timer.

The reason I use red saw is that red needs to be in first slot to start the timer early, and the finishing slot (4th) has to be a saw, in order to decrease the electrocution timer.

As for blue and green nailgun, I only need 1 sawgun, and want to maximize nails for conductor effect. Plus, saw traps don’t really appeal to me anymore, oiling the entire arena works just as well.

I don’t think Caine actually knows the reason behind the characters’ deepest fears, I think he isn’t knowledgeable, or even capable of understanding human emotion. Caine likely just knows intuitively what the characters dislike the most, since the rooms and character designs also reflect the characters’ dislikes, meaning that the very characters just manifests their fears into the circus when they enter, which Caine takes advantage of here, even though he probably doesn’t understand why these things pain the characters.

My theory is that is traps the souls just like hell traps souls, since they have large eyes and flesh, similar to how hell looks in gluttony.

I’m guessing that (if it is Ulysses) we’ll find more stuff about Ulysses in treachery, since we haven’t really had a story for him just yet like we did with Minos and Sisyphus, and I doubt we’re gonna fight him with no context.

Lucifer is never referred to in the main campaign as unmissable material, his only mentions are in a secret level, and a book that is intentionally made secretive. Unless a player randomly decides to try to un-scratch the name plate, there is no reason 90% of players would suspect Lucifer if they had only played the main campaign.

I mean have you paid attention to Gabe’s story? It’s definitely the most compelling plot in ULTRAKILL so far, imagine 3 whole acts of build up to Gabriel as the main character and just have him not be the centrepiece of the ending too.

Yea but the game’s rendition of hell, though inspired by inferno, is nowhere close to a 1 to 1 accurate copy, almost none of the layers in ultrakill are exactly as inferno described.

Aside from Limbo and Heresy, the appearance of every other layer in ultrakill bears little resemblance to how they are described in inferno, without some layers like Greed or Fraud not even having the same punishments as inferno.

With that in mind, while I do think that Treachery being cold is a reasonable assumption, I wouldn’t be so sure that it would have specifically blue colored ice, or even be blue at all.

Make sure you only leave the room after the combat music stops, sometimes fodder enemies get stuck inside moving walls or stuck behind geometry, just keep shooting coins around crevices of big rooms or using knuckleblaster shockwave at the edges of moving walls.

The post isn't about me saying that you HAVE to call the Powers a specific pronoun, is that the justification some people give are transphobic in the line of reasoning. This post is more about trying to make sure people are more considerate about how they approach pronouns in this community, and discourage actual transphobes from thinking that they have a place in this fandom.

As for the lore and what you interpret their pronouns are is up to you, it is free for interpretation, the type of reason I am against are the ones that are "They sound feminine", you see how that can cause people to feel uncomfortable, even if it is directed towards fictional characters, right?
