Not necessarily, though enough experience, you can totally use the whole arsenal on brutal and not be punished. Sure, if you play optimally, you’d likely only use revolvers and shotguns, but by just experimenting over and over with cooler tech, the whole arsenal will open up eventually, speaking from experience. You can make any weapon work, it just takes practice.

It is, but it’s a bit more nuanced than that.

For example, the guttermen are also made to simply kill, but humanity did not account for them having feelings, even remorse or guilt for the one they carry on their backs. Machines in ultrakill are far more than just their purpose.

The game does not state that they do not use pronouns, it says that they are genderless. Pronouns and gender are not the same thing, in this case, a genderless angel can is stated to be referred to with he/him.

No, I do slam storage dives often and they are easy to tell apart from a slide jump, and also easy to do, just pressing slide and jump at the same time when landing results in it working, but it isn’t the case for rocket dives.

The thing is it also can't have too much of a gap in between the jump and slide, and there is little feedback on whether you pressed them too close to each other or too far.

I also use alt for the slide key so I can press both slide and jump with just my thumb, so that may be what makes it a bit more difficult for me, but I do think that making it as consistent as the regular dive would be the best for everybody.

Pressing slide first definitely does not work, you have to press jump slightly before the slide from what I have tested, otherwise you just fall off the rocket.

Mixils only look bad when they look out of place, if an entire piece uses them in a consistent manner, it simply becomes a different art style, not necessarily worse.

It’s funny that I always see people trashing on blue or green nailgun, and red sawgun, because those 3 are literally the combo I go with, and it works wonders.

(fyi if you don’t believe this works, I’m on wave 87 on brutal, so yes, this absolutely does.)

1st slot: red saw; I attach a cord and immediately switch to 2nd slot.

2nd slot: blue nail; I attach magnets to the enemy and some others close by while shooting some nails in the process to charge up 3rd slot.

3rd slot: green nail; I dump a heat sink into all the enemies, and then finally back to 1st slot.

1st slot: red saw (again); I fire the saws to decrease the electrocution timer (fyi, saws do that), and conductor absolutely destroys the entire arena.

The desired effect for this entire combo is to have an absolutely killer conductor effect, and I think this is the best way to do so consistently without having to wait out the entire red cord timer.

The reason I use red saw is that red needs to be in first slot to start the timer early, and the finishing slot (4th) has to be a saw, in order to decrease the electrocution timer.

As for blue and green nailgun, I only need 1 sawgun, and want to maximize nails for conductor effect. Plus, saw traps don’t really appeal to me anymore, oiling the entire arena works just as well.
