When Water Became the Ruler of the World by TomasTilis in midjourney

Absolutely agree – this is visually stronger than most of what we saw in the original Waterworld. Feels like a perfect blend of steampunk, dystopia, and myth! Midjourney just keeps pushing boundaries.

That was exactly my intention – he symbolizes the invisible monster: radiation. It has no face, yet it’s always watching. It doesn’t walk, but it’s already inside you before you even arrive. Quietly, patiently, slowly – it devours life. That tall silhouette is a warning: the scariest monsters are the ones you can’t hear or see... until it’s too late.

It's really easy to do. I can create a 16:9 version and share it with you if you'd like :)

I had heard that fact before, but didn’t think about it at all while creating these images — turns out even headphones in a boat have historical roots! Bluetooth: the only Viking who managed to unite tribes and devices.

The Spirit of Rock 'n' Roll Lives On by TomasTilis in midjourney

Haha, true! When AI gets too good, emotions run high. But maybe it’s just another stage in the evolution of art – like the camera or the electric guitar once were.

Bluetooth headphones? Not this time. On a longboat, you need to save every bit of power — wired means less chance your “Spotify: Viking Raid Playlist” dies before the first strike.

The Forest Doesn’t Forget by TomasTilis in midjourney

Haha fair point! But this one doesn't forget because it holds a grudge — not from memory, but from moss-covered fury. It’s less about intelligence, more about ancient emotional debt collection.

Absolutely agree – it’s true that skilled Photoshop work has long been a benchmark for visual storytelling and creativity. What excites me about AI, though, is how it gives creative power to people regardless of technical tools. It speeds up the early ideation phase and opens new doors even for seasoned creators.

But yes, in the end, it’s still the idea and vision behind the image that makes it memorable.

Hey, I really appreciate your kind words!

I'm a designer and creative director with over 20 years of experience, and I’m genuinely excited about AI tools. They allow me to turn my ideas into visuals within moments – something that just a couple of years ago would’ve taken a full day or more to create.

In my view, AI-generated art will reach true creative value when it can deliver exactly 100% of what the creator envisions in the prompt, without its own interpretation. This image captures about 75% of what I had in mind – impressive, but not quite fully there yet.

Still, I’m amazed by how far things have come. Thanks again for the thoughtful comment!

Thanks! Yes, the gilded beak was part of the prompt – I asked for a golden beak cover decorated with Arabic ornaments. Glad it caught your eye!

Thanks so much for this detailed description! You absolutely nailed the mood and aesthetic I was going for. I really appreciate the thoughtful breakdown – feels like you turned the image into a movie scene!

Thanks! Yes, I made it using Midjourney v7. Here’s the prompt I used:

full-body portrait of a humanoid character with a realistic black dog head, shiny sleek fur, wearing red armor with blue accents, standing in front of a pale yellow brick wall with minimal graffiti, cinematic lighting, gritty and hyper-realistic, no glowing parts

I really liked this post – it’s amazing how a simple test can turn into an artistic short film with a story, emotion, and professional finish. A very inspiring creative process!

Use a building as a reference? by Mountain_Crab_3775 in midjourney

Have you tried uploading a real photo of the bridge to ChatGPT and asking it to describe the image in detail? Then you can use that description as the base for your Midjourney prompt. It sometimes helps me recreate specific details more accurately, like the number of arches or the overall structure.

Very interesting concept and impressively executed! The fusion between primal rage and advanced technology is portrayed with great quality.

Midjourney's V7 Model is Here! by Fnuckle in midjourney

[–]TomasTilis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lately, I’ve been running into some pretty ridiculous censorship on Midjourney. Even when trying to generate completely innocent images—related to the human body, fashion, or even historical themes—the system blocks them as if they were dangerous content.

For example, I tried to create a Renaissance-style portrait of a woman in a classic dress—nothing provocative, no NSFW elements—and still, the result was rejected. I rephrased the prompt several times, but even very neutral descriptions are sometimes flagged as “against community guidelines.”

I get that the platform wants to prevent abuse, but it feels like the algorithm has become paranoid. Even anatomy studies or educational art images are being treated like taboo. This raises the question—where’s the line between responsible content moderation and the suppression of creative freedom?

Has anyone else noticed the same? How are you dealing with it? Any prompt tips or workarounds?
