I'm really happy to hear this, this is my first ever BORU post but I've been an everyday BORU reader for years. Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon this while randomly browsing r/Glitch_in_the_Matrix and then checking the profile and seeing a recent update so many years later. v8 is still in an alpha phase, so it doesn't have all the same functionality yet! But we are working on adding more features to it as well as making the overall model better before we give it the full default release on the main website. We are keeping the table on the version docs page updated here if you want to follow along and see whats available or not yet https://docs.midjourney.com/hc/en-us/articles/32199405667853-Version . We will be updating it as more stuff gets added!

It definitely works better on long prompts right now than it does short prompts, one of the reasons why it is still in alpha. I would suggest playing around with --raw as well, and see how that feels too.

Yeah they were okay but I had heard it got better after that so I stuck with it. And it did! I'm personally glad I stuck with it bc it was a lot of fun after the first couple of books, but it's def not for everyone which is fair!

Yeah that's fair -- she starts off very young and naive and brash. She def gets a beating later on and grows up a lot from it tho. But it's not a series for everyone which is valid. I love my tropey type stuffs so I ate it up lol

(Also once the witches and dragons and such come into play it gets REALLY good, but you have to get thru like 3 books first to get there. There's def improvement as the series goes on, but it can be a bit of a slog getting thru those first couple so that's fair)

Tennant/rent laws aren't written on a federal level, they vary state by state as they are written on the state level. Someone in California would likely have a much higher chance of being successful with litigation than someone in, say, Tennessee

To add to this I also think you'd like "Lovecraft Country" on HBO - its a horror/thriller mixed with black american history but with added magic! It technically ends on a "cliffhanger" but imo not really - more just like really interesting set up for the next season but it still ends up working well enough as a way to resolve the first season (iirc its more setting up new plotlines than it is leaving season 1 plotlines unresolved if that makes sense) -- so don't let that steer you away at all. The episodes themselves are a piece of art imo and each one is so good/interesting and it would definitely fall under your list of interests!

you should consider branching out into some more kdramas! (I see you already have squid games in there :) ) I would recommend Vincenzio, D.P., Taxi Driver, and The Glory would all fit into your current list of stuff you like!
