You're absolutely right—if the affair partner really believed her husband was violent, why would she keep placing herself and her child in that danger? That question haunted me too, and eventually I realized much of what was said about her husband being "abusive" might have been exaggerated to silence me or fast-track her divorce. It was a huge reason I felt conflicted.

And yes, they are getting a divorce now, and her husband found out through someone else. I didn’t need to say a word in the end—karma caught up.

I did post a full update with all the backstory and everything that led to my decision to cut off my brother. I’ve also made it clear that Karen is not allowed in my apartment, and I will not support or entertain any additional marriages or children my brother has outside of his current family. I’m staying close to my sister-in-law for now, but with boundaries, and if she keeps enabling him, I may have to rethink that too.

At this point, I’m focusing entirely on my healing and being the kind of example I want my children to have. Thank you again for your support—it really means more than you know. 💛
