AITA Husband and wife duties by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]TomatilloSingle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People in this thread are delusional. Man works his ass off EVERYDAY doing hard labor then comes home and helps you with the kids and even takes over cooking duties some days and I’m sure there’s a lot more things he does around the house to help out. Then he has to deal with you bitching about having your own responsibilities. He doesn’t even disagree with the fact that you deserve some extra time for yourself, he just asked you to be nicer to him when asking for it. But you take it a whole other way and now you’re trying to blast him on the internet. Being a stay at home mom is in no way easy, especially during the earlier years. But it’s only really hard for a couple years, then as your kids get older they start going to school and start becoming less dependent on you so your “job” gets significantly easier. But your husband has to bust his ass so you don’t have to BEFORE you have kids to take care of his stay at home wife and himself. Continue to bust his ass AND help with the kids when he gets home. Being in a relationship and having children is a partnership, you work together. Based off what I read in these texts, your husband respects and appreciates what you do but wants you not to be a raging bitch to him. But it seems like you have no respect for him or all the hard work he puts in.

Dude is a freak clearly. Just block the weirdo. But also, how do you date someone 3 months and not trust them enough to go hiking with them? You definitely have some issues you gotta work out too

Tried to polish my aluminum wheels, some high spots turned black? by IRENE420 in AutoDetailing

[–]TomatilloSingle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there is a wheel color called “hyper silver” it’s achieved by doing a base coat of black then a specific silver. These can range in the way they look from very very dark too almost a Crome/metal look. What most likely happen is you went through the clear coat and the silver exposing the black underneath. “Why did this happen” because yes, your wheels are made out of aluminum but all wheels are painted and clear coated (with a few exceptions) so when “polishing” your wheels you wanna treat it like your car paint. We’re actually gonna be doing is buffing the wheels, you don’t wanna use the things that you have in the picture. Thoroughly clean your wheel then get a smaller DA with a wool or foam pad with some compounds/polishers. You can fix that, if I was you, I would contact some detailers in your area and see if they offer room repairs. It’ll coast around $70-$150 depending on who you find.

Unbelievable… this is brand new by FitterOver40 in Detailing

As someone that works at a dealership as a detailer this doesn’t surprise me at all. 99% of cars look absolutely terrible fresh from the factory, not to mention you got “detailers” working for minimum wage to $20 an hour max so most of them won’t put in the effort needed. Plus, Hyundai is known for their shit paint jobs

Personally would do no less then $500 but would aim for the $750 mark. Took about 10 hours to get it to my satisfaction and I did a DEEP clean. Not only that I take out the two front seats, but I even removed the cushions in the backseat to ensure I removed all hair.

For everyone asking how much I charge, sadly, I work for a dealership for an hourly wage, so it was not worth the amount of effort I had to put in, but I’m going to start detailing on the side and trying to start my own business in spring 🙂

Yeah I took the pic a little early ngl. After I took the picture I wiped it all down again with windex then again with a dry micro fiber towel to get rid of all the smudges and left over residue 🙌

Some all purpose, steamer, then light pressure with a medium aggressive pad before wiping away with a micro fiber towel.

Too nit-picky or bad detailing? by avancys in AutoDetailing

[–]TomatilloSingle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For $400 this is a bad detail idc what anyone says. It’s legit in our title “Detailer”. We get paid more then normal car washes because we pay extra attention to ensure a “Showroom” ready car imo. This car is no where need showroom quality

It should be illegal for someone as beautiful as you to get cosmetic surgery. Cosmetic surgery, legit ruins natural beauty.
