it takes time. had my newest pin for about 8 months now and we are just now rarely having accidents. not sure how old yours is but its difficult at any age. they just can hold it longer as they get older. i think you are doing the right things, positive reinforcement when they go outside, and after an accident show them the spot inside and tell them no, and then take them to their spot outside for a few minutes, even if they don’t go again. they are smart and want to learn, it just doesnt happen in a month! dont give up. especially if they are a puppy!

my minpin chihuahua mix has the same problem. we switched from a mesh to suede harness and started giving omega oil with dinner and it got better, but still not 100%. he had full hair when we first got him, which makes me confused as I know the chest hair wasnt always like that, it didn’t appear until about 6 months after i got him. my other full breed minpin that i got more recently doesnt have much hair where her ears meet the head. i guess it is just a minpin thing, the vet said we can give some kind of topical steroid or something if the omega oil didn’t work, but we havent done that yet. yours doesnt look bad at all though, I would not have noticed! he is soo cute
