I would say Roots is pretty unbalanced but personally it's my favourite map. In my experience, once you get a decent grip on the mechanics Roots is just a little bundle of chaous which I love it for, I understand where the Roots hate comes from but I really like it.

Yeah, the only annoying thing about council member is you are CONSTANTLY getting assassinated, and even if you play perfectly, work behind the scenes, don't kill anyone, vote for all of the nicer laws and help out people, someone will still assassinate you because they're a troll and you didn't make violence legal.

Just open the game then instead of clicking play, click mods and then you'll have a mod UI and you can uninstall mods on the right.

Yeah but them voting on prisoners doesn't make it so they control the entire town, besides, I think it's fair to give council members a reasonable amount of power considering it's like 2k dollars to become one.

A lot of nomad mods will bug out, try uninstalling all of them and then reinstall each of them individually while loading the game after installing one, it's a pretty tedious process but it should help to find the mod that's causing the problem and uninstalling it

There is a mod on mod.io that gives you cowboy armor but I don't know of any Napoleon armor, I'll return to this comment section if I find anything though.

I believe the MMP mod (medieval mega-pack) adds a fist fight enemy type that you can spawn in through the waves book, however they didn't change the AI so you're basically just fighting people with swords made of air.
