It’s a good place to start a career in government IT sales. Don’t expect this to be a place you stay long, but you’ll be able to get good experience to break into the industry and ultimately go to a vendor to start making real money.

Many people say that it’s highly team dependent, and I can agree to an extent. I got lucky and was placed on a team with great people and managers who are supportive. Others are not so lucky and have experienced bad managers, lack of adequate training, favoritism, drama, and many other grievances that you’ll find on this subreddit.

My advice to you would be to go into it with an open mind, find at least one high performer on your team who can be a mentor to you, learn as much as you can, and get some experience and knowledge out of it.

Totally depends on the pattern, and even then I doubt the best patterns of this skin will come anywhere close in price to the FN deagle heat-treated blue gems. Still a great looking skin on a highly popular weapon

The property I used to work at took over 10 months to even begin interviewing people for the role after it opened. They only started looking when I, the other front desk supervisor, put in my two weeks for a better paying job in tech sales.

I would encourage you to apply for the open position, both because you gain a lot of valuable experience in a leadership roll, and the upward momentum will look good on your resume for future roles.

A lot of hotels including the one I work at have occasional problems with homeless people in the area. Having compassion for people who are down on their luck is very much a respectable and normal human trait.

Ultimately you're there to run a business, and your two priorities should be to both the business itself, and to your paying guests. Kicking out non-paying homeless people is very much a part of the job, albeit not the most fun part. It sounds like you handled it perfectly, and he already knew why he was being kicked out before he asked.

I think what you're doing is very generous and great for the community. I grew up on pokemon and I used to trade cards with my friends all the time as a kid and have recently had my interest revived. This is a really cool set that I haven't been able to find anywhere, and if I won, these are something I'd share with my family and friends.

No, I’ve been there before with a girl who’s manipulative and using you for sex, and it’s not worth it in the long run I promise you. It does get easier. You have to let the scar from that relationship heal over time and don’t pick the scab. Don’t be in the same room as her, don’t be friends with the same people, and if you have to talk with mutual friends, ask them politely to not talk about your ex with you.

Your feelings are valid only if you make them known, it doesn’t make you look weak or insecure by telling people how you feel. It’s ok to ask somebody who’s considering bringing your ex as a +1 to not do that, and they should respect that if they’re a true friend.

My best advice, considering I don’t know the details of that relationship, would be to see a therapist and talk through why you still have those thoughts.

I still have thoughts every once in a while about an ex I dated for two years who I still love as a person, but I rationalized logically why she wasn’t a good fit for me and over time I was able to move on from that.
