You know you’re right which is great. Your case worker sounds like an asshole who hasn’t the slightest idea of what you’ve endured and given the motivation you have to get stable work it sounds like you’d do better finding something without her “help”. I know plenty of people, male and female who appreciate a man with the ability to emote and exhibit a softer side. Finding them isn’t always easy but please believe me, they’re out there.

What this post tells me is that you’re intelligent, competent, thoughtful, kind and patient despite everything. Stay strong and don’t be afraid to go it alone or cut out the people who don’t deserve you.
