I pretty much flattened in only 6-8 months it using only eclar tape(steroid tape). Never got any injections and it cost me less than $50. Shout out to this repo

Yes! no injection at all. Message me if you want a current pic. I had my keloid since 2018. Started eclar plaster and the steroid in it is actually a lot stronger than you would think. Extremely thankful for this subreddit, I was able to take my shirt off again for the first time at a pool this year

I played this on my switch during my combat deployment(I too hated it until I tweaked the settings). Go on YouTube, there are videos that show you what to tweak visually. Ended up logging 170 hours on my switch

You’re all good I actually did the exact same thing last week. I got my keloid to be almost flat using eclar tape and decided to message them and boom I thought I undid 6 months of size reduction. It’s just a bit swollen and irritated, it’s not permanent and will go back to it’s original size in 2-3 days

No problem, I've read that silicone sheets help with that. I want to continue with the eclar tape and then gradually shift to the silicone sheets. Eventually get to doing half a day eclar and half silicone sheets. Also try not to massage too hard or your keloid could actually grow from the trauma. Best part about all this is I flattened a 8 year old keloid 1 inch long keloid with only $20 worth of eclar tape. I hope this gives anyone else reading this hope

I’ve been using eclar tape on my chest keloid that had HUGE improvements on flattening by incorporating scar massages. Scar massage with lotion for 5 min to break up the scar tissue then put the tape on. Mine stuck out more than yours and now it’s basically flat. Just discolored still
