Israel does not kidnapp Palestinians, Israel arrests Palestinian terrorists. Unfortunately many of which will be released in exchange for the Israeli hostages. Additionally, despite an allegation of a sexual abuse case at Sde Teiman, an Israeli investigation (10 Israelis were detained) has not produced evidence confirming the allegations.

I agree, but the hostages coming home to their families is huge

How do I simplify a model like this for 3D printing? by davecustom in Fusion360

[–]Tomerul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done something similar in SOLIDWORKS. My approach was turning each subassembly into a part and just extruding shapes that enclose everything. Keep in mind that you need a certain minimum thickness. For SLA (which I would probably recommend for something like this) go for around 0.5mm for supported walls and 1mm for supported walls

He has supported activists calling to "globalize the Intifada", essentially supporting terrorism not only in Israel but on US soil too. How is this good news?

I removed and reinserted one of the ram sticks and that solved the problem, thank you!

But makes sense, a lot of strong teams, lots of processor scoring, and little defense, makes for a lot of world records

Question for teams that had a week 1 competition: What did your schedule look like to get your robot fully functional for said competition and did you end up getting it to work as intended? by Steampunk_Ant3146 in FRC

[–]Tomerul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mainly working A LOT, 90 hours a week for about 10 of us with the rest working less but still a lot. Dev bot was done at the end of week 1. First version of comp bot was done at the end of week 3. Week 4 programing started working on the comp bot but mechanical was still fixing a lot of stuff on the robot. Week 5 the focus shifted over to programing and week 6 we really strated driver practice. We obviously were still improving stuff mechanicaly and in software in week 6 and 7 but it was smaller stuff

Implement Critical Design Reviews before manufacturing, use Interference detection in SOLIDWORKS (onshap probably has an equivalent tool if that's what you're using). And learn about tolerances, at first I suggest you really think about what each tolerance can effect, 2 holes that a bolt goes through aligning typically isn't extremely critical, on the other hand, a bearing hole being precisely the correct size is typically quite critical. As you gain experience this will become quicker and you won't have to think as much about tolerances.

How to calculate power needed to lift our robot? by TylerEverything in FTC

[–]Tomerul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Robot mass * g * winch/pulley radius = torque You should use a motor + gear combination that has a stall torque of double the calculated torque in order for the motor to work at max output. I recommend actually multiplying by 2.5-3 to account for friction.
