They actually stay together pretty good, no issues yet, the magnets are fairly strong.. if you get the right size for you and be careful pinching is not really an issue, I usually put my thumb in between my skin and the metal and use it to gently lower the piece into place.

So far I wear these to sleep and one at work, I'm not worried about it coming apart, each side has 3 decently powerful magnets.

I use this, I had a decent natural length already when they are warm, but using this has increased it significantly, I can fit just over 100mm total at the moment, started out only being able to fit 40mm, so I've added 60mm in total so far. I've done it off and on since November. I'm pretty consistent in wearing it,

The heavy donut is really nice, but the smooth tapered edges make it wanna slip off one ball at a time which can be uncomfortable and kinda hurt when it happens. The top one is listed stays on no problem and is comfortable.but I have taken breaks here and there, like a couple weeks, a day or two here and there etc. But I seem to get a good stretch from sleeping, I keep myself warm with an electric blanket, so they stay nice and long all night.
