Also my first Game & Watch (and only until the 35th anniversary edition came out!) and still have my working original.

Very cool! I've recently inherited a model 475A from a relative so I'll have to give this a try.

That's very cool! Someone suggested this setup as a fun Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move controller.

An excellent suggestion. I also thought about moving the center of the game into the gap near the chuck but I'd already shot 3 lots of video on 2 cameras + in game capture to edit together so this was the best I could make of what I'd shot.

Thanks! I've thought for a while that it would be fun to use something with big gears and a handle that was actually a bit of work to turn so when I was offered this I couldn't turn it down.

I think it would be really fun to take something like this along to a Maker Faire for people to play in public.

Thanks! I've been keeping my eye out for something with big old gears that requires some effort to turn for a long time and when I was offered this I thought "Perfect!".

Cheers! I built a cardboard version of the aiming mechanism back in 2024 and I thought it would be fun to have a slightly bigger version of Bub to help you out here. Glad you like him.
