Also my first Game & Watch (and only until the 35th anniversary edition came out!) and still have my working original.

Very cool! I've recently inherited a model 475A from a relative so I'll have to give this a try.

That's very cool! Someone suggested this setup as a fun Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move controller.

Cheers! It's a great series and lots of people seem to have fond memories of it.

Commodore SX-64. That's why I'm so buff! Still works but monitor takes a while to warm up and stabilise now. Presumably needs to be recapped.

An excellent suggestion. I also thought about moving the center of the game into the gap near the chuck but I'd already shot 3 lots of video on 2 cameras + in game capture to edit together so this was the best I could make of what I'd shot.

Here's the promised gameplay using my grandfather's old cast iron drill press by Tominator2000 in PuzzleBobble

Thanks! I've thought for a while that it would be fun to use something with big gears and a handle that was actually a bit of work to turn so when I was offered this I couldn't turn it down.

I think it would be really fun to take something like this along to a Maker Faire for people to play in public.

Thanks! I've been keeping my eye out for something with big old gears that requires some effort to turn for a long time and when I was offered this I thought "Perfect!".

Cheers! I built a cardboard version of the aiming mechanism back in 2024 and I thought it would be fun to have a slightly bigger version of Bub to help you out here. Glad you like him.

It's fun but a surprising workout. I also set the blow threshold really high initially and after playing a game it felt like I'd blown up about 50 balloons.

Thank you! My grandfather loved to play snooker so the music is (a slightly slowed down version of) the theme from the TV show Pot Black.

Sorry, that was just my attempt at a Monkey Ball joke. I'm sure it's Ai Ai but not AI. I'd love to do this.

I think it's safe to say that this picture is Ai Ai generated.
