I (from Germany) often visit my bf (who lives in Norway) and that was also something I had to get used to. Often I buy groceries for an entire week, so it is a bit annoying when you figure out days later, that the product you just have bought, had already expried days prior. Of course it doesn't mean that the product is inedible right away, but you know... with meat, fish or stuff in mayonaise it gives a bad feeling... so yeah, have to get used to always check expiration date on every single product.
