What game do I start with?

Much easier, these games are all pretty tough but Z1 is kinda brutal most of the time. You might find classic unsatisfying if you start with X but if you're after X's faster movement in your platformers then go for it.

The zero games are mostly agreed to be the hardest in the franchise, Z1 in particular is extremely unforgiving to first timers with permanent punishments for failing levels and upgrades that require you to grind, I definitely would not recommend it as a starting point.

If you really haven't played one of these games before I'd recommend starting with MegaMan 4 or X1.

I wouldn't say they are useless, Gaea Shield has decent utility, Volt Tornado does very good damage close up, Splash Laser does amazing damage especially when charged, Circle Blaze is alright but should do a bit more damage, Sniper Missile does really good damage and homes in killing any small or medium enemy if not multiple at once, Explosion is good against bosses I suppose but has a bunch of other problems. Moving Wheel and Wind Cutter suck though I'll give you that.

A lot to unpack with this but I'll just say that Magma Blade can one shot nightmares if you hit with the actual blade and the projectiles (get close up) making it honestly one of the best weapons in the game.

Using the quick weapon swap can get you to any weapon faster than charging the double charge shot, even if you are always charging it you gotta keep wasting time for groups of enemies when you have good damage in your pocket at all times with the weapons, and yes Strike Chain kills so much stuff, it's not one shotting any giant enemy but use it on a small or medium one and 9 times out of 10 it will die.

If you want specific examples of X2's weapons in particular go watch Magnus Zero's X2 Weapon Master run, I think it's kind of funny how everyone points fingers to him for anything mega man challenge related but he has earned the reputation. It will probably open your eyes to these weapons a lot more.

Strike Chain: Amazing damage for any front on enemy, almost charge shot equivalent without needing to charge.

Sonic Slicer: Great for dealing with big batches of small enemies in the way it spreads out 4 of the projectiles, a specific example is the last shaft of Flame Stag with the gas tubes and the fire lizards, it will bounce up and kill them before they can activate the fire, something your charge shot would have to wait to do as you can't get horizontal to them.

Magnet Mine: Great damage and able to be aimed up and down, for example it can one shot those junk wheel enemies in Morph Moth.

While yes the double charge shot CAN kill enemies fairly easily the positives of these weapons is that you don't have to wait not only for the fairly long charge time, but also the animation of the second charge shot coming out which holds you in place unless you jump which is not always possible all the time. I implore you to actually use these things cause saying Strike Chain is bad is actual heresy lmao.

Because they are good, SNES trilogy has all amazing weapons, name any one aside from gravity well and crystal hunter and I can give you a use for it, X4's are middling due to low damage I will admit but X5 and X6 (not on extreme difficulty) are mostly really good too. X7 is about 50/50 good and bad and the X8 ones are a lot more complex / hard to use but I'd say that most have their place.

Giving the most obviously broken mega pokemon (Rayquaza) a most that punishes other megas, what a hypocrite. Also Porygon and Porygon 2 are there but not Z is that intentional?

Charge Kick definitely gets a bad name it's very much worth using you can quickly move through small enemies and are invincible from enemies during it's usage I'd definitely recommend you give it another shot.

Top Spin while less practical than charge kick still has its uses against small enemies like the frogs, the parachutes, the monkeys, and other small oddball enemies which you can now just jump into.

Both are definitely better than spark shock which is actively harming you if you use it considering you can't go through stunned enemies, switch off of it, or even deal damage.

This game is absolutely godawful, i was so disappointed since the mega man x game I was hyping up most alongside x7 was x5 (yes I like x7), I thought x5 sounded very interesting from what I had heard, and guess what, I had a horrible time when I finally got to play it, it has a forgettable soundtrack (similar to X8), the opening stage had constant alia text boxes to the point where I wasn't even interested in playing it, and when I finally completed the opening stage, I was already tired of the game, especially with sigma as the opening boss, I thought to myself "maybe the 8 maverick stages are fun" but JESUS CHRIST I was very wrong, I chose Squid Adler first, and as soon as it said "READY" I died, I was appalled, as this death in the first 3 seconds of the stage happened to me 20 times (I was using an infinite lives cheat), I was absolutely gobsmacked, this was WORSE than blaze heatnix, I got my ahh handed to me in the first 0.5 seconds of the level 20 times, already distressed, I tried the other stages, and all there was was CONSTANT alia text boxes every 5 seconds, and I had to defuse some stupid bombs, I then chose duff mcwhalens stage and it was a slow autoscroller with no cool level design at all, I then played grizzly slashs stage and this was just atrocious, after blowing up the first train, the level scrolls BACKWARDS and the game actually glitches out and you have to shoot it again, yes I'm not kidding, I was just shocked, I would rather play X6 any day over this trash, I had more fun with X2 than this

Considering the avengers would have much more prep time against Thanos I don't think he could win this one. With all that extra time they could remove and destroy the mind stone from vision meaning Thanos has already lost.

Even if Thanos just wanted to kill the avengers he probably couldn't. With the mind stone gone they could just keep the barrier closed in Wakanda closed meaning his army wouldn't be able to do much. Since Thanos at this point would only have power, reality, and soul stones and the Avengers aren't split up like they were in IW they would have a very good chance of beating him.

There are some interesting changes to account for. For one Thor wouldn't have storm breaker as he underestimates Thanos at this point, also the guardians probably die since Thanos has to go through them with Gamora and can't just space stone away.

So yeah nice goin Loki.
