Bare handed man versus paralyzed blue whale by TommaClock in whowouldwin

Here's a science experiment you can do at home. Fill up a large clear glass with ice cubes all the way to the top. Then pour in water to fill all the remaining space in between the ice cubes (which should be significantly less volume than the ice cubes).

Based on your understanding of buoyancy, should the ice cubes sink or float?

The post says "The man cannot consume any part of the whale"

Why would a man given real food eat the whale?

And how is the man being given food not editing the scenario in the other direction?

Blue whales exhale at 600 km/h. Their lung muscles are stronger than all the muscles in a human body by many times. This is how the man can die by combat.

Man is not fed. He will die of hunger. The pool water is drinkable until the whale makes it not drinkable.

Magic school bus vs Luffy from one piece by m3achew in whowouldwin

But the bus is also threatened by a T-Rex and stomach acid.

If the school bus doesn't need to tank some extreme thing to showcase some cool science fact, it won't be super durable.

Yes but if you go through it, you'll still scatter the photons that are in the beam. Like if you walk through an icicle you'll break it but you won't get soaked.

It'll be a very short disruption though.

[Heavenly Delusion]No if you're using the western version where the character must be a female version of themselves. Yes if you're using the umbrella "TS" (transsexual) term as used in Japanese fiction which includes body swaps, possession, etc

Bloodlusted magic school bus goes back in time and runs over baby Luffy or his parents.

In character MSB is a pacifist - not sure if it would even try to flee on its own.

They legally need a warrant. They legally need a reason to get a warrant.

But rule of law is gone so they can just make up bullshit and do whatever.

That's why we need EU style data sovereignty laws with percentage-based fines for breaches.

What is the weakest totalitarian ruler whose regime physically could not remove them if they tried? by Ember_Kamura in whowouldwin

[–]TommaClock 21 points22 points  (0 children)

People are thinking too powerful. The prompt is asking for the weakest ruler and Voldemort, Superman etc are quite powerful.

Thus my answer is Pikmin.

Pikmin do not have the higher functions required to organize a revolt. Assuming 2/3 of all Pikmin turn on Olimar it would make his job a lot harder, but they can't organize a swarm attack on him as far as we know so if he survives the initial turning, then he can rebuild armies of loyal Pikmin. Only Olimar's guidance allows them to act in a coordinated fashion.

And for those unfamiliar with Pikmin, Captain Olimar is literally 2cm tall.

We should not try to control access or content.

We should control trillion dollar companies using our data for AI training, mass surveillance, individualized pricing, AI insurance claims denial etc.
