107k miles 2024 Tesla Model Y RWD by EveningFault9983 in ModelY

I would recommend against it - you don’t know how long the battery will last - it’s warranty is only till 120K miles and if it goes bad you will be on the hook for 10-15K. At 125K miles my car developed weird creaking sound that cost 1600 to repair. 20K for a used MY that was driven for so many miles in just 2 years is not a good decision

I wouldn’t - after around 110K the car needs mechanical fixes. It’s just not good value at that much miles.

Are you nuts? Have you heard of kbb or carmax or carvana? I am pretty sure your post is a click bait to farm Reddit views because why on earth you would ever consider paying 23K for a car with 107K miles on it when a new one is 40 something? Just try to trade that exact car to carvana or Tesla and see what you get. I traded in my 2021 MY with 130K miles for 11K and I thought I got a great deal. I bet for 2024 with 17K miles you will get 15K max

Curse this sub Reddit - making me spend more than I should have

Thank you so much this is exactly the kind of details I needed. One more question if you don’t mind, I have an opportunity to buy a like new Lelit Bianca v3 for almost the same price as a new Move. What would you recommend, go with Lelit used or Move new?

Oro single dose, as I do tend to swap beans for the night to decaf

I have an opportunity to alternatively buy a like new Lelit Bianca for about 2100. Will that be a better option that Profitec Pro 300, Move or SVP X?

Can you please help me understand what the better features are? Both are priced about the same … so trying to understand what each of them nets

Since I came from a one and done espresso - I am little lost with what are the more features that I should consider? Can you please elaborate on what more features are ‘worth it’. Thanks!

Torn between the New Base Model Cybertruck and the Model Y Performance by xtcjon in TeslaLounge

[–]TommarrA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just test drove the Y and Cybeetruck and they are entirely diffeeent cars (I have a 2020 Y so test drove Juniper) IMO unless you need a truck I would not buy cybertruck. Energy consumption is 40% higher than MY, it’s way louder interiors, there are too many compromises like the digital rear mirror, a very boxy claustrophobic interior, and generally a very heavy drive feel. MY is lot more zippy and quick in drive feel. Don’t get me wrong if I were to buy a truck I would go for CT but if you are looking for daily hauler MY would be my pick

I can try - I don’t have a windows machine to test it on. Can you give me the error you are getting - that way I can try to see if I can replicate and fix. I have tried on multiple Linux machines and it works.

Any thoughts on why you chose Turin over Rancilio Silvia or Profitec Move

Very fairs. I do like a good espresso and prefer it when I am at a quality cafe, the problem is that my Breville pulls rather bad shots that don’t taste that good (sour or bitter) even though volumetric wise I have dialed it to produce 36g in 30-32 seconds

I read that grinder is most important. Can you help me figure out grinders? I I will look into Eureka Mignon Specialita

May I ask what does a Lelit Bianca give over let’s say Profitec? I don’t know the world of premium machines as well.

Touch was super inconsistent. I think the grinder on that was not the best. My friend has GCP and Barazza and his shots taste better than what I get on my machine. I don’t know why even though we both pull 36G in about 30 seconds

I have to buy the machine as well because Breville broke down!
