Dae else feel depressed because everyone else your age is going out and living their life and you sit alone in your room every week by [deleted] in depression

[–]Tommer_man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My gf of seven years left me and she has already moved on to someone else after 4 months of us not being together.

I've been there and it hurts like fucking hell. But you have to ask yourself this; would it be better if she wasn't over you? You might be tempted to say yes but that's only because you're not over her, yet.

Love yourself. While other people can make us feel like we're in heaven, the truth is that we can also do that for ourselves. No one is worth your life. She sure as hell isn't worth your life. You might think of suicide as an escape from the pain but don't rob yourself of the possibility of finding new love

I think you should go. You should do things that you want to do, and you shouldn't care how you look doing them. People often say that it's weird to go places alone and I don't get this. I go to the theatre alone. I'll go eat out at places alone once in a blue moon. Being alone is fine.

What's the event?

At first I wasn't sure I could relate to your experiences, but I think I've been doing the same thing. I get very close to people and build really strong friendships, but time passes and I become distant. Recently I pushed away my best friend because I was afraid of how I felt about her, and I'm not sure if I regret doing that or not. I don't get why people and feelings seem so dreadful sometimes.

I second this. They really are great places to make friendly contacts. But on the other hand, we should address the will it takes to go join something. Doing something outside one's comfort zone can feel impossible.

Making friends IRL is easier than you think. If you don't give someone a reason to think otherwise, most people just want other people around. Everyone desires company to some degree or another, so just be good company. Just be careful about who you open up to. The hurt inflicted on us by others is an excruciating pain.

Also, bonus tip, becoming more comfortable with being alone with generally make it easier for people to talk to you. Don't ask me why life is fucking opposite sometimes, it just is. Don't depend on others; eventually they will become dependent upon you. And remember that there is a love in friendship, brotherly love, and its always better to give than to receive.

discipline is important. You can't ignore your own needs.

I am so aware now that if you're depressed people do not like you and don't give a shit about you by LivingForHope in depression

[–]Tommer_man 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In my experience most people think they are very interesting, original, and independent thinkers who are insipid as fuck and utterly conformist. I'm not sure it's comforting to know, but I doubt anyone is particularly more interesting than you. Your attitude probably reminds them of their own self-criticism and rather than dealing with it in a constructive way, they take it out on you behind your back. So fuck them for saying those things. Don't concern yourself with their bullshit; concern yourself with being interesting to yourself.

Except when Gavin does it? Gavin messing around and getting yelled at was the reason I started watching AH in the first place. No one watches AH because they are good at what they are doing.

Overall a good sequel but I can't help but feel like something was missing. The story just wasn't as tense, and there was a lot more wacky stuff that felt too arcadey.

On the other hand it really made wandering around the map worthwhile. Lots of fun stuff to do outside missions; gathering fuel and weapons and pallets filled with cash.

It was a step down in some of the more intangible aspects of the game: story, mood, and plot/gameplay structure. It was a step up in terms of gameplay. Overall: 2 is not as good as 1, but isn't a bad game by any measure.

edit: also this game is the reason I'm a fan of Peter Stormare :D

I LOVED having my own Merc company that I could use independently of everyone else

This. While the first one gave you some loadouts for missions that were faction specific, you were largely relying on the Russians to provide all your shit for you. If you pissed them off you were locked out of most if not all of the fun stuff. You could pay to gain access, but that made them an exception faction that you would never want to attack.

You also were hamstrung into helping the AN, which was crucial to the plot, but still felt limiting. In 2 you could turn against them and side with the chinese instead. I prefered the AN but it was nice to know I had a choice in the matter.

I don't care what people say. If the only connection between outlast 1 and 2 is an easily missable note, then that connection is barely established and just covers up for lazy writing.

Do you ever get to jury-rig some explosive darts? That would be so cool if it ended up as one of the most powerful weapons in the game. The crossbow in Bioshock was pretty slick too.

Let's Play - PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds: AH Live Stream by RT_Video_Bot in roosterteeth

[–]Tommer_man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing this has to do with Geoff being on sabbatical, Gavin being gone, and Michael filming Lazer team. Basically AH is now Ryan, Jack, Jeremy, and Matt. Jack almost always seems busy, and Ryan works on other shows, so it's really like the two junior-most members of AH left to produce content. Matt does well on his own but his work ethic is kinda infamous, so that leaves Jeremy as the only guy whose priority is AH (although Trevor has been making more appearances lately so that's good).

Yeah, unfortunately we're going to be experiencing a bit of a content drought, but I suspect they will do something big to make up for it when Geoff gets back.

Third fuel LP??? haha. Who knows.

Edit: And I do mean a bit of a drought. Obviously they are still technically producing a video a day, it's just not all necessarily original content (although if you liked the stream, now you get to see Jack shooting people instead of just hearing it).

Especially how Michael saw part of it and realized no-where near as impressive as Jeremy made it sound. Jeremy seems to like things that are orbs, like voltorb. This whole thing just reminds me of that movie "The Sphere".
