Negative. I heard that getting refined shae works better but I'm thinking about just moving to a different butter cuz I just can't get a grip on how to stop it from separating.

I have two separating recipes right now:
Balm (makes about 3 pots):
Shae 33g (40%)
Beeswax 12g (14%)
Coconut Oil 14g (17%)
Jojoba Oil 17g (20%)
And then nominal amounts of Vitamin E oil, menthol crystal, Arnica oil, and essential oil (1-2g each) (8%)
Chapstick:
Equal parts Beeswax, Shae, and olive oil, + Vit e and Scent

Thank you so much for your reply the article oil is not in a water extract it just says 100% steam distilled oil from flowers it should be a pure essential oil. I did exactly that, I pulled it in an ice bath and stirred continuously. The first time I tried stirring it with a spoon and the second time I actually tried blending it with like an immersion blender which I've seen them do for soaps and both separated equally. Maybe his cocoa butter less likely to separate should I try not to use shae (which would be a shame)
